I guess Walker never had it fully under control & with a covering defender you couldn't say for certain it was denying a goal scoring opportunity. Could have gone the other way though.

That is what I'd have done but can also understand the thinking behind this. Only moving 1 player out of his natural position & the width is where we're likely to get any joy attacking, playing a right footer on the left & a CB on the other side would limit our attacking threat massively. So...
