I can't understand how keyboard warriors can aim such bile at a team they purport to

"illiterate"? Well yes, naturally there are some under-educated fans who comment but there are also plenty who can expresses themselves perfectly in English. However Alan has the benefit of proof readers and I still occasionally cringe with the spelling and grammatical errors. Dunning Kruger...

    The Pressley Myth

I expect a cycle now. In 12 months or so I hope we'll have seen Thomas and Madison lifting us up League 2. SISU will insist they are sold and we'll start the inevitable descent down that league.

    The Pressley Myth

You're right - he was. Wrongly assumed that as he was Scottish SP had signed him. Dispel the myth? I think the OP has proven it's true.

    The Pressley Myth

However, of that team, Clarke, Adams and Wilson were already at the club. Clarke and Adams must have been injured and Pressley got lucky that Wilson matured over that Summer. All he added was Fleck and Webster - and people may argue that Webster wasn't an improvement. Also, surely it wasn't...

Is it time for "we want Pressley out " at matches ?

I don't think she would. She's a very stubborn person and it would cost her money to do so.

Will there suddenly be more players injured as division 4 looms ?

I would imagine on their relationship with the manager. If they support him and buy into the cause they will not. If they are alienated they will not care so much and be thinking about next season with team x in Div 1.

    CET: Happy Birthday Cyrille Regis

Gordon Strachan was the best player I've ever seen in Sky Blue, even in his dotage he looked like a man playing against boys.

    CET: Happy Birthday Cyrille Regis

The CET is running a story that it is Cyrille's 57th birthday today. I'm looking forward to a series of stories every day: Maurice Setter's 48th Wedding Anniversary; Mick Coop's 68th birthday; Exactly 49 years since Willie Carr bought his first car...

I think that there is much to support your argument. We don't know just how tied Pressley's hands are.

League Position at end of season.

We have no evidence based upon recent results. However we have just bought in on loan half a new side, including a player that is very highly rated by M'boro. I'm basing my optimism on that and only that. As John Lydon sang 'I could be wrong, I could be right'.

Sell quick before we hit the bottom of the cycle.

You can if you like but it would be pointless. SISU doesn't give a jot about the league position. If they can make a profit - any profit including selling the youth team off one by one as they attract attention - why would they realise their loss?

16 weeks without a home league win.

It was Einstein and he was wrong. Doing the same thing is the definition of practice. Not in our context though unfortunately.

    Scouting mission

The key question is not whether they are good but whether they are out of contract.

League Position at end of season.

I think we will go on a run and finish 12th. Williams will be the engineer of this success.

    Waggott??

I would imagine his main qualification is not complaining about the situation and making do.
