    Cov Council Going Bankrupt?

That is the best bit, though itself is flawed. I said from the very start it was never going to get that level of demand for office space (even stuff that was told it was coming to Coventry chose other developments) and now we've got two office blocks (which are only there because the council...

    My concern with Robins

So then the issue is finding out which stats/metrics they're using, because it must be different to other teams with far larger resources and scouting. It's all very well saying 'use stats', but you've got to use the right ones. Brentford and Brighton clearly are right now.

Did he? I seem to remember him being in the U21 squad regularly. Just checked. 17 appearances.

Match Thread Preston North End FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 4th Nov

I'd go Wilson Lati Kitching Binks MvE Sheaf Eccles Bidwell Sakamoto Allen Simms Collins, Fadz, Thomas, Dasilva, O'Hare, Wright, Godden Not that it matters who plays, we'll lose 4-0. Probably get a red card too. I'll go Kitching.

    My concern with Robins

While I think stats are extremely useful, it also needs to be remembered they can be flawed as by their nature they are best for measuring very specific aspects rather than a bigger picture. Sometimes the methodology is flawed and sometimes they are set out with a deliberate bias to support a...

    My concern with Robins

Surely it depends on what position needs filling as to who you'd pick. A team full of Eccles and a team full of Sakamoto's would both lose. One would be exciting to watch but wouldn't have any defensive ability and get overpowered. The other would be extremely dull but would be able to compete...

Fadz - A Season Too Far?

I can see Kitching steadily taking over from him over he next few months. part of me would love to see Brekalo come in, but given how we're playing right now my slim hopes of that are rapidly becoming non-existent.

Kind of agree but would prefer a reserves league instead, rather than loaning them out straight away. We still want some level of control over their development.

    World Cup 2034

Why would it help the people who live there live better lives? Those in charge can say that the way they're treating people is fine as the rest of the world is giving them these prestigious events. Plus any infrastructure is done with a labour force with low pay and few rights, which again is...

Nice touch tonight-When will it turn toxic?

I agree he looked better but it's not exactly a ringing edorsement. he was still well below the level required and the only real reason he'd keep his staring place is that neither Godden nor Simms were any better.

    Simms + Wright = ?

I agree, We were playing with one striker lat season much of the time, so therefore to make a better comparison you have to look at how the AM's were performing in terms of goals. Which means adding in Hamer's goals, and probably considering Allen's contribution too.

    Premier League thread

Well they've got form. Once complined they couldn't see each other's grey shirts against a sea of red after a loss to Southampton. Southampton, playing in the same kit as many people in the crowd were wearing, ha no such issues...

    Afternoon sessions ???

From the title I thought this was going to be about pre-match refreshments. But in all seriousness I've questioned for some time why training doesn't occur in the afternoons, with the most intense parts from around 3pm to mimic a gameday and get their bodies used to performing at that time...
