Well that's not gone to plan has it. Two injuries meaning we've used two sub slots and conceded a goal on the verge of half time. Still got O'Hare in the back pocket so hopefully will come out with more purpose second half.

Fucks sake. 1. We lose one opportunity to bring on a sub by not waiting till half-time. 2. We bring on a young CM who looks very uncomfortable at RWB to replace him in stead of an experienced actual RWB.

But also a sad indictment of politics and our way of governance that such important roles are filled not by knowledge or intelligence but personal ambition and private gentlemen's agreements.

O'Hare and Palmer off the bench could cause them big problems later on. Think it's another kept it solid for the first half then push a bit more in the second.

She's writing a Austen-style family saga about a naive MP who falls hopelessly in love with a unscrupolous colleague who swindles his way to the top and takes advantage of her. It's called Liar and Liability.

For me it would be the same regardless. If they're contracted then there will be a certain amount they will have to be paid to leave. Does that up front amount leave enough to get a replacement in?

I get that, but it wouldn't be much of a saving if they've only got just over 6 months left. Unlikely to be enough to finance an addition that could impact the first team anyway. Plus I stand by the non-financial impacts in the dressing room.

I agree. If they went full-on it'd just lead to more chance of a Tory government getting back in much quicker. I think during times of hardship and recession the better way out of that is investment by the state to create the jobs and demand rather than cutting spending. Ye, it would likely...

Depends on the level of the player and if they would if they were denied monies owing to them, which the person suggesting we get rid of them alluded to as they said we should do it to save money. How do you save money if you have to pay up their contract anyway to get them to leave?
