    In Times of Austerity

This isn't necessarily so. I'd like to see the state invest in running nationalised concerns efficiently and for a profit. IMO it is a scandal that they are permitted to be managed so poorly.

Well, I don't think much of the Mail either but I guess if they both have it it must be true. Shocking behaviour.

I'm not going to discuss how hard MPs work, I have no idea. I do have strong views on managing the economy. Fantastic maths not needed, just addition and subtraction. Which of the following points do you disagree with: 1. The country must over the medium term spend only what it collects. If...

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

Here is a link. But it's a just a CET article with 'sources said"... not quoted nor named. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-taxpayers-could-lose-millions-9616342

Almost evidence it's not true. The Huffington post is a left wing comic.

No sarcasm intended, was attempting to pretend I was a sycophant.

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

That's an excellent question. You are really great at questions.

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

I agree with the poster who says that it's not a priority. Remember that the only priority for SISU is to make a profit. They've been exceptionally poor at achieving that and seemingly this is their last roll of the dice before they have to take the club itself seriously rather than a property...

Hungry for life, Nick; hungry for success. Not hungry for piri piri. :)

Conor Thomas has come back hungry

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/conor-thomas-impresses-coventry-city-9681410 Is he going to fulfill his potential this year? Despite others' skepticism, I think he has all the makings of a fine player. Being dropped and the new manager may be exactly what he...

Limiting the person who communicates to the ref doesn't mean they cannot be punished if they abuse it.

Well anyone at all 'could' be coming. I suspect this is just a misunderstanding of the nature of the advertised understanding with Spurs.

I was made to feel stupid by Coventry City

I had a similar incident last year. One of the stewards called me 'sir'. I couldn't believe the impudence of the scoundrel. I expect to be called 'my liege' by all staff. I have written to my mp.

How do you know it always will be? Also believe you forgot to write 'end of' at the end.

What do you want to see on here?

It would be good if you could auto insert the text when people add a link to a CET story (appreciate the danger of doing this for all links) Also auto-insert the words 'end of' at the end of all my posts, which are all definitive.

How many more players do we need?

Agree, not their fault. They were faced with a bunch of cynical piss-takers and did the best they could to protect the peoples' investment against these bottom-crawlers.

How many more players do we need?

Agree. Three attacking players will transform this side.

    Nuneaton Match Thread

I go to a football game for the singing. Then again, when I go a gig I try and get a game of 5-a-side going when the band comes on.

Not if you are a seven year old girl.
