The Rebuild- Around Hamer and Sheaf

But if the difference is £10m or nothing then that's a massive gamble to take that could allow a lot of squad building. He's not guaranteed to get us promotion, even if we did improve the players around him. He could get injured first game next year.

    Transfer Window

If they're coming down aren't they going to be keeping those players as they'll be in the same league as us? Players they'll be selling will be on huge wages.

    Signing Loanees Permanently

Agreed. BNC and JWE I'd consider for loan again, but not sure I'd be signing them permanently with a fee involved at this stage. Could be short-sighted and they end up being worth millions, but I think it'd be a big risk right now.

Leeds and Leicester coming to Coventry

I fully expect the SAG to have a completely opposite take for the Leeds and Leicester games at the CBS. In that the seats that are usually covered will be on sale and the seats that are usually available will be covered.

The Rebuild- Around Hamer and Sheaf

I think everyone's missing the vitally important information regarding whether Hamer goes or stays - is there a Samoan Joe's close by a potential new club.

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

Wilson had 6 attempts to save a penalty and failed every time. Statistically he should have saved at least one. Dabo didn't score a penalty, but neither did Fadz, Bidwell and others. Players made mistakes during the game that, had they not, the score may well have been different and Dabo would...

When they showed him on TV I thought "isn't that Joy next to him?"

    Play off Solidarity Payments

To be fair the graphic does say "if lose play-off". That's very misleading, as although technically true it doesn't actually matter if you lose, or even get into, the play-offs. I was thinking "isn't that what everyone gets?" but the wording was making me question myself.

The morning after the night that wasnt to be.

I think we'll probably look more next year at playing through the midfield if COH signs a new contract. You need a strong CF if you play one up top and we'll struggle to find someone as good as Gyok, but at the same time if we can find someone how maybe is a better link up player, rather than...

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

Was hoping to wake up today to find out they'd changed the rules overnight and that if the teams are level after extra time, both teams get promoted and four come down. Sadly not the case. Reality is a bitch.

    Panzo

But really for a CB what you wanrt is someone who is dependable and give a solid 7/10 most of the time. Panzo is largely extremes - either really good or really bad and seems to need someone coaching him through games. It's difficult to gameplan if you're assuming he'll have a stinker every 2-3...

    Play off final ratings

Disagree. There's been plenty of games this season we've played two up top and looked poor. Godden looking like a passenger and us just conceding possession because of a massive gap between the strikers and the midfield. The box worked perfectly at Boro. It should have been a good option...

Jamie Allen is Guilty of War Crimes

Maybe a case of short memories. When we had Godden playing up top with Vik before we kept saying there was a huge gap between attack and midfield, we weren't picking up the second ball and basically we just kept turning the ball over. With the extra AM you should have that support there to pick...

    Be proud of them anyway

Absolutely gutted to have lost, but think it was an incredible feat by the boys to get so close. Early on we looked nervous, and let them physically dominate the game and until about 40mins it was more hoping we could keep it to 1-0. Despite the box the midfield looked miles away from Gyok...

    Stop Oil

Bit difficult when the multi-billion dollar fossil fuel industry has bought the ear of those with the right to change it, and those in government are knee deep in fossil fuel investments. All the arguments and a big start on the solutions are there but nobody with the ability to actual change it...

If we beat Luton will it be better than winning the FA Cup

I think that as those clubs complain about fixture congestion just say clubs in Europe don't play in a domestic cup. Solves their fixture problem and gives a team who'd value winning the competition more of a chance. Bored of reserves of top teams (still worth more than the opposition) filling...

I agree, hence why there is no need for anyone to get an allocation of two.
