I said no but he’s on ‘prove it’ territory now.
To have two weeks off after two pathetic performances and to use that time to go back to players and a system that have proven to be ineffective is not on.
He needs to show he can do it at this level.
Our form and confidence has fallen apart at just the wrong time.
This needs to be a rallying point because we just can’t rely on anybody else now. Focus on winning (not just competing) in the game in front of us.
I actually think keeping him if we get relegated could be sensible as he’d have a good chance of getting us back up.
If we manage to stay up by the skin of our teeth without any improvement just because Blues or Rotherham lose all their games then we should seriously think if anybody could do a...
I’ve calmed down now. No point in sacking him straight away but he is on the clock now.
8 games to show he’s at the level and that doesn’t just mean scraping by because other teams are shitter than our shitness.
Because we’ve shown ourselves more capable playing in a different formation, namely 352, and we’ve not bothered going at teams when points were there for the taking. Blues, Wycombe, Forest, Boro etc etc etc etc
Gyokeres has been written off as shit and to be fair he has looked shit a few times. He did score a good goal against Wednesday and has seen fuck all of the pitch. Maybe if we let players get some match fitness they might show some ability. It’s got to be better than letting players we know...
Of the players that have been in our first regularly this season that you would expect in our first team in the championship you could say O’Hare and Hamer will benefit. I think the rest have either not featured enough or have shown themselves to be not good enough.
Blues 2 points
Forest 0 points
Wycome draw at home
Blackburn lost 8 in a row. Draw.
Im willing to bet we’ve chucked way more easy points away than anybody else.
