Top Five Managers of the Season

Now that Mowbray has left Blackburn, Robins is now the longest serving manager in the Championship (although Warne from Rotherham will take that honour when they come up).

    Happy with the result ;-)

    Progress under Robins

Kind of agree but i'm sure many on here said the same last season that this one just finishing would be tougher than our first back. Need more depth though and to keep our spine.

    Next year Season tickets

Damned if you do, damned if you don't, eh?! Happy Friday G. Weirdly, last night, I 'dreamt' that I met you. You were younger and happier in real life :)

    Hilsner ACL

Where's it been posted that he's done his ACL? Feel for the chap. Will go down as one of our worst signings though. Shame.

    Walker

I think that's a tad unfair. It's quite obvious that it affects different people in different ways. Walker might have had more of a knock on from having it than someone else. Given that we've been lacking attacking intent from the bench, especially with Godden injured, I'd keep Walker next...

Match Thread WBA (A) - Sat 23rd April

Why will he have to play Wilson the next two games...because he kept a clean sheet and saved a penalty? You bang on about how MR dropped and lent out TW after scoring two games in a row? So which is it...he keeps players happy if they do well or he drops players despite them doing well?

    Evil Fuckers

Fucking hell. There's far too many of these kids deaths. I cant even read it....its just too much.

    Evil Fuckers

i just can't keep up with too many platforms. Two young kids, a business and arguing with G on here is enough to keep me busy!

He's not been there for 7 years!!

Yeah, I agree. Hence the 7 years being a long time as things can change.

    Evil Fuckers

I mute my WhatsApp notifications. If I didn't use social media for my business, I think I'd delete them. I only really use here and LinkedIn to be honest. Insta isn't too bad but FB is just an idiots playground. And Twitter which I have but never use.

    Yeah, but we're not Newport.

Likely to happen though, don't you think (regardless of your feelings for DB)? Looking at the trajectories of both clubs, we seem to be going in the right direction (on the pitch) and them, not so. 7 years is a long time granted but if an extension is needed to cover any period to a new ground...

Selling the Club (no it's not happening, just a theory)

This is kind of being covered on the 'A club, its Fans, a Ground and New Owner' thread. Our stadium situation is likely putting potential bidders off before they even get to talk to Sisu/Joy.

I guess my point being, that I wonder if any other clubs with ground issues, have been bought by a knight in shining armour? A rare occasion that I agree with big G. Getting a sale with our situation will be nigh on impossible. I just wondered if there were exceptions to the rule.
