    Sheffield United forum

I've chosen some of the comments from their chat site at random: - "Coventry fans are poo-poo heads" - "I'm going to get my Dad to beat them up" - "I think they are horrid and smell of wee-wee" - "Na na na na na" And some of the responses from here: - "Sheffield is silly and old and silly and...

On this occassion, well said TF...long may it continue

This is ominous: “The fact we had a record new Wembley attendance for that competition shows how prepared people are to travel to support the club, from Coventry and around the world.”

    Was Mark Robins

Much of the criticism of Fisher is fair but you cannot blame him for not knowing the future. At the time, even if Robins were available, he obviously thought he was doing the right thing. This forum was also largely supportive of the decisions.

    Ratings from today

I couldn't choose between Bigi and Thomas. I thought the midfield as a whole was excellent - it was lovely to see fluent one touch passing and it reminded me of the time when Wilson and Clarke were scoring so many. I read on here that Robins thought our midfield was second best. I didn't see...

    £60 - An expensive Sleep

Two blokes stood in front of me were very pissed. The problem was that they were stood next to the edge of one of the upper tiers and they kept standing on the seats. I was worried they were going to fall but thankfully when one did it was onto me.

    George Thomas

I agree that Thomas is going to be a good footballer (called it last year doncha know) but Stevenson played well too Imo, part of the midfield that controlled the game

Where the Sky Blue Army At?

Just setting off from Hampshire now. On FA Cup final day in 1987 I was in Swindon with mates. I decided in the morning that I couldn't watch the game on TV without a sky blue scarf and so I went into town that morning but could only find a Man City scarf (plain sky blue and white stripes). It...

    Favourite Record Intros ?

I was listening to the Monochrome Set in the car today - when this came on it made me smile. A massively underrated band and a great intro. Once the song starts I love the way they emphasise the 'the'.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I remember this. It was about 10 years ago, although I don't know if it is still happening. The Spanish said they owned the land and moved in Spanish nationals.

    Can We Stay Up?

It would be interesting if we did keep on winning though. It might go down to the last couple of games at a push.

I thought it was Linder Sterling - I've given you the points. There are two more on the original post. May I extend to Magazine (one of my very favourite bands ever)?
