Or because not saying anything means people continue clicking on their feed rather than just going to bed if they did.

    Viktor Moving on

Getting deals in place and concluding them are different things. Often clubs say a player needs to go out before they can complete an incoming transfer as they need the funds. To borrow a couple of phrases, they 'get their ducks in a row' ready to 'pull the trigger' when the opportunity arises...

    12:30 kick offs. Team perspective

I guess players don't like it as it messes with the routine and preparation. Guess they could adjust training in the week prior to get used to the intensity around that time but pre-match meals etc. are messed up entirely.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

No. I would expect a lower salary, but at a higher rate than I currently get as I believe I would be more productive. Say 2/3 of full time hours for 3/4 of full time wages.

I agree that increase in owner occupier will be due to RtB. However at that time most of the rental stock would have been owned by councils and so would keep costs down to a degree compared to private. I think the thing is possibly where the houses are at the moment. The ones around Canley are...

    Palmer leaving

Possibly because there is a BBC CWR so he spends a great deal more time dealing with BBC WM?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I'm not sure that would be more productive. Personally, though it would seem others I work or have worked with feel similar, is that first hour I'm not massively productive as I settle into my day. Next 3-4 hours I'm productive. then I start to flag, my mind starts to wander and I'm just not as...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I admit I made a pig's ear out of my meaning. What I meant was there are an increasing number of young people who are renting because they can't afford to buy (well, get together a deposit). And a large part of that is because where rented housing was predominately council owned they are now...

    Todd Cantwell

While, as others have said, I don't think he is related to Noel, I can't understand your reasoning why Noel having two daughters means he can't be his grandson. One of those daughters could be Todd's mum, surely?

    league cup draw

Not like the money is going to make up a massive chunk of their revenue is it. I'm sure their argument would be that they attract the bigger gates so deserve more but to get 3 and a half times more than a EFL club is wrong. I'd prefer it to be 40% L2, 30% L1, 20% FLC, 10% PL.

    Palmer leaving

Indeed. Palmer is more the sort of player that shines when the team are in control and he takes the piss out of the opposition, But he's not the type of player that will get a team having a bad game out of the doldrums.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Of course higher population and not building an equivalent number of homes, as well as things like more single person households etc have a big effect. But the fact is far more people are now renting rather than owner occupied. If most people want to buy a house to live in then why as some many...

Well we could start by not offering executives massively over-inflation rises and using some of that.

They are, but the French thought they'd landed in India, not America. Hence the name.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Probably, but trouble is most of those wanting to buy a house to live in can't afford it because they're being bought by people seeing them as an investment and renting them out.
