I think the chances of Sisu owning the Arena are less than 5% unfortunately.

Worst case scenario is someone buys the Arena and we continue to rent, with Sisu as owners. This, to me, is still preferable to having to bow down to Wasps as landlords with those f*&king Wasps signs up at the Arena. All depending on who the new landlords would be to be fair but it's no longer...

Great point. I guess the 'rugby family' might agree that it's in the best interests to get them in and they might draw in bigger crowds for those two games. Maybe. I'll try and speak to my contacts at Cornish Pirates this week and see what they say.

Isn't that worse for us? I wonder what the socio-economic mix is of the bondholders but I'd suggest a number would be Wasps fans. I can't imagine they'd be enamoured about CCFC having any sort of benefit out of this. I could be totally wrong though!

I don't see how they can continue to be our landlords when they cannot even afford the interest on the £35m they owe to pay for the initial purchase 8 years ago.

Who knows how this will shake out in the long term. The one positive for us (as I see it) the I'm delighted with, is that our landlord will no longer be a nomadic, sh!tty, rugby club who shouldn't be in our city. Granted, we don't know who our new landlords will be but as long as it's not...

The hotel is owned by ACL, operated by Hilton under a franchise agreement.
