Starting a new club - a way to gague support

Things need to get a little worse before the support is really going to be there for this, there is still alot of misplaced optimism, give it a season

They think it's all over ?

If we do well some fans will come back but I see little to no chance of us doing well despite a few decentish preseason games. We won't have any of the trialists to pick from and if we start on -15 you can forget any chance of the crowds increaseing.

Warring parties secret talks in last-ditch attempt to keep Sky Blues in Coventry

Seems like false hope to me. Assuming that article is correct there is no way we are going to get an agreement, it's doubtful that that the people there will even have the authority to make a deal. ACL would be very foolish to sign the cva without an actual agreement in place and the article...

    CVA meeting today

Ok I said I couldn't prove it, but I can, from a Tim fisher question and answer e-mail in Feburary. "What is your final message to the supporters? This is not as simple as a rent reduction so to those who just say ‘pay up’ or take the offer on the table, I say: a) we have paid more than...

    CVA meeting today

ACL aren't owed the 500k the Escrow account would be, which presumably isn't going to exist if the lease is being broken, No one doubts ACL received 500k towards the rent from this account, but ccfc had a legal responsibility to top it back up. ACL have also recovered some of the money they are...

    CVA meeting today

No I disagree, I can't prove it but I am very confident Fisher has said they paid 800k rent. I specifically remember him being asked why they weren't paying rent and the response was look shane we have been paying rent. Especially in 1 of his "look Shane" interviews.

    CVA meeting today

It's still only you and Tim Fisher that believe this (well actually Fisher doesn't believe it, just says it) so that leaves just you. You've been told over and over again that the "800k" rent they paid last year was 500k from the Escrow account which they had a legal responsibility to keep...

    CVA meeting today

Thanks yeah I realise that, It was the fact the council were owed £750 which is the first time I've seen that and since I didn't think the CVA offer was in the public domain that suggests Greggo Gee has inside info. Or perhaps I'm mistaken which is why I asked him to link to that info.

    CVA meeting today

Can you link to that please? I thought this wasn't in the public domain and we only knew what the telegraph had told us as they had seen it, who showed you?

    CVA meeting today

no it's up to 14 days for adjournment. the 28 days you are thinking off is the cooling off period that happens if ACL sign the cva.

Coventry city council to refuse cva - city going to face liquidation

Is that the same thing though? refusing starts an adjournment? if they were going to sign it presumably they would today.

Coventry city council to refuse cva - city going to face liquidation

My bad, sorry Nick, worth taking down the tweet though as it's confusing people.

Coventry city council to refuse cva - city going to face liquidation

Worse than that the skybluestalk twitter account tweeted - Coventry city council to refuse cva - city going to face liquidation with a link to this thread, nuts.

Coventry city council to refuse cva - city going to face liquidation

He's clearly not Tim Fisher of course, but why on earth did you tweet a link to this piece with a headline that looks like news when really it's just speculation? it's also quite possibly a troll (and no I don't assume people with a different opinion to me are trolls) Very happy conversing with...

    CVA meeting today

Les Reid ‏@Lesreidpolitics59s Unconfirmed rumours #CCFC creditors' meeting proper hasn't even begun yet with ACL "delay tactics". All sides ARE at least in the building!

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

yeah it's alot more fun than discussing this yet for some reason I keep alt tabbing out and coming back. Gotta stop it. The AI is pretty decent but a human is always smarter. They give the AI bonus's to compensation. I play on very hard, it's fun at that difficulty and I don't feel the need to...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

I thought you were making 2 separate points and that I understood them both. 1 being if they had offered 3 years compensation instead of 1 year while on the face of it that would seem fairer it would in reality just mean they got a smaller percentage in the pound. they would have offered (not...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

anyway back to my CIV 5 game about to invade china, thank you for your thoughts and things I'd not considered, be interesting to see how the morning pans out.

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

Oh sure I completely realise you were just proposing a possible way that the deal could go through and ACL only get 0.5p in the pound. I know you weren't stating that to be fact. However if you were right then absolutely it means Appleton has been misleading, you said it's semantics and spin...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

Ok now your confusing me, what 600k difference? with what you said there wouldn't be a 600k difference. Option 1 - accept the cva get 25.9p of the debt they were previously owned + a 1 year compensation for breaking the lease. Option 2 - Reject the CVA, limited gets liquidated, they still get...
