Consider this.. The government was formed with approx 37% of the electorate voting for them on a 66% turnout. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election/2015/results In the referendum 51.9% voted leave on a turnout of 72.2% http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/eu_referendum/results I think the...

Even if a vote was taken I doubt the MPs would ignore the referendum result, I'd expect the Torys to be whipped to vote Brexit, what the rest do is debatable, but I imagine there would be more than enough Brexit votes from the other parties to overturn any Tory rebels (probably none, maybe an...

    Terrible decision from Venus

Venus has knowledge of budget. I don't think Thorn had any idea about such matters.

Don't worry, SISU won't ever submit planning permission due to a 'political embargo'.

Somehow I don't think you are very good at Maths. There are differences between average & peak crowds. If you have a 15K stadium you'll average maybe 12K, which is poor in the Championship, to get an average of 15K you need a 20K stadium.

    Hillary / US Election Thread

Watched it the other day, bit of a campaign piece for Hillary (or maybe against the Evil One). Nothing earth shattering there. What he does post election should be entertaining.

Time to get behind the team

I think his heart was never in it this season, ever since that Rotherham 'incident' he wanted to walk but I think he just stayed because he was pals with Venus. In the end it was best that he went.

Coventry Sphinx & Coventry United Thread

Only one goes up, that will almost certainly be be Westfields this season. Even AFC Wimbledon didn't get promoted every season with their support, spent 3 seasons in tier 7. If they finish top 6 I think the momentum will be picked up again next year.

He never said that, he said ... - Mr Sharp said The Butts could be expanded to 25,000 seats, but they would be looking at around 15,000 seats to allow further development of the site - which is just under eight acres in size.

Not what he said, his initial plan was 12,000 base on Rotherham's stadium. Note the Butts had planning permission for a stadium about that size. I believe as far as SISU are concerned 12K is good enough because it gives them an exit strategy, that is all they're after, they are not bothered...
