We are fans of the year!

Magic82ball has addressed this point in a previous post. The FL would have been looking for a commitment that SISU had the means with which to keep the club in business, pay staff wages etc. They would not have been looking for a commitment on the quality of the players on the payroll. The FL...

We are fans of the year!

You're just being your usual obtuse self :D The club might well have demonstrated that they can fund losses for a specified period time based on average gates of 4000 (neither of us know the basis of this so-called 'promise', but it would be absurd to suggest that this notional agreement would...

We are fans of the year!

I am not sure where you are going with this. Any assurances would presumably have been based on projected income. Nothing is guaranteed, and stupid as the FL are, they are not THAT stupid. If income has fallen way short of what they projected then of course the club may exercise their right...

We are fans of the year!

For some yes, but others seem to be clinging on to the idea the boycott will force the club into a u-turn. Just now someone has posted this on another thread: "How to get cov back in cov.stop fooling yourself and stop going to sixfeilds.it is the only way" I think that is nonsense, it isn't...

We are fans of the year!

OK, if your stance is purely a moral one and you care not of the consequences of it then fair enough. For others though, the boycott is a means to an end, and that I have some difficulty with because I do not see how it can achieve the desired aim. All been done to death I guess so I won't...

    Will CCFC vanish ?

I think there is a very good chance of that. The fans won't support the club at Sixfields, the club steadfastly refuse to return without freehold ownership, ACL/CCC will not sell to SISU (freehold or leasehold in my opinion). It's a game of brinkmanship that will not end well because nobody...

None of that matters. Tim Fisher in calculated bluff shocker. Do you believe him? If yes, then what is the point of the boycott? If no, then you must understand and accept that they have the option of decimating this squad of players if they need to. Again, if you genuinely believe the...

We are fans of the year!

Of course you are. You are advocating a boycott that will inevitably increase the pressure on our owners to succumb to offers for our better players in January. Of course, it is a nonsense situation we find ourselves in, and it is largely of their own making. The fact is though, we are where...

We are fans of the year!

Given that a return to the Ricoh looks less likely than ever, the 'cashing in' option seems the most likely out of the two scenarios you describe. That being the case, why are you trying so hard to ensure we do not get promoted this season? No doubt you'll also be amongst the most vocal when...

    where was everybody

1200 was still the biggest away following of the day in L1. All away followings were below par on Saturday. Not only that, it is the most expensive ground in the league, and reaching it by train costs a fortune. Can't believe people are criticising that following. We average over 2000 so far...

We are fans of the year!

Given what you know about SISU and how they operate, what do you think is more likely: a. they give in, put their tale between their legs and take us home; b. they just wind the whole thing up and walk away? Genuine question.

    Ticket for tomorrow for £10

Have a ticket for tomorrow but cannot make it as I have come down with yellow fever or something equally heinous. Just a tenner for anyone interested, but will need to collect from Whitmore Park between 6pm and 7pm tonight. PM if interested.

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

No idea what's happening tomorrow, but I did see the new stadium renders recently. Looks smart.

    Swindon

Doesn't say anything about it on the club website, just that you cannot collect tickets purchased in advance at Swindon. 100% there will be pay on the gate available.

    Swindon

We've sold just shy of 1200 so far (there are about 1100 tickets on the side and the rest are behind the goal). And it isn't all ticket, why do you think it is?

    Blaze offer for City fans

Quite possibly. To be fair I wasn't aware that it was possible for the same owners to own multiple clubs, I would have thought that would have created a conflict of interest, but I guess that isn't how it works in that sport so perhaps you're right.

Guess the gate for Hartlepool replay

Fair enough, just that line about the cold weather made it sound like you are a bit of a wuss ;)

Guess the gate for Hartlepool replay

Yeah, I think for this one game the numbers will shoot up. Peterborough will take over 1K alone I would imagine.
