My mother was alcoholic depressant and after trying to take her life about 12 years ago, we sought some help for her. AA was one of those things and you're right - they're very 'god' orientated. Despite being raised in NI during the troubles, she didn't give two hoots for religion so left after...

I mean, I kind of agree with his first two sentences. The last one however...very shortsighted.

Dave Boddy leaving in January - John Taylor in!

Personally, I'd like to thank DB. He gave my (at the time, fledgling) business the chance to look after the teams hotel stuff. Now in my 4th season do this for the club I love, I owe him a lot for giving me that chance. I'll leave it for others to discuss how he rates. The few times I met him...

Match Thread Ipswich Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Dec

It was their 2nd game at home in the league to be fair but I'm with you on your point. Blackburn, Cardiff, Plymouth, Preston NE, Hull, Millwall, Swansea all lost there, conceding more than we did. And 4 of those are top 8 teams.

    FA cup draw

Won't be an easy tie. They'll be coming here thinking they can win it as they're doing well in L1. My yearning for an away tie went unnoticed 😥. Still, we've got Sutton away at Plymouth. Some revenue from the 3rd round!

    This forum ….

Just to add some context...before today... Ipswich had only lost 1 of 9 at home, which was the first day of the season against Leeds. Unbeaten at home since August. They've won all 8 others against teams above us, bar 1. They've averaged 3.4 goals at home in each league game this season...

O'Hare is a Burden on the Team

Well not really, no. There's been comments like he won't get into our team, where would he fit, might as well let him go etc. I don't have a spreadsheet so can't be arsed to find them but they're there.

O'Hare is a Burden on the Team

Most definitely. I find it amusing that some seem happy to see him out of the door after a couple of rusty appearances. Its going to be towards the back end of the season where he'll hopefully be back to top form. When he was fit, he was arguably one of our best and most important players. If...

He could turn up tomorrow I guess but I know he's not got a room at the team hotel, that's for sure.

Selfishly, an away tie - longer than a two hour coach drive please :)

    Ronnie O'Sullivan

Yeah, that's fair. I just think though - if it supposedly makes him so happy, f&%k off and do something that does make you happy. Life's too short.

Not travelling mate. Unless they're going to add him in the next 20 mins before they set off - him and Palmer not in the squad at all.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/snooker/67580668 Anyone else tired of his constant moaning? I want to cut him some slack as he's had/got some demons he's dealing with but I don't think I've ever seen someone so good at what they do and just moan about it all the time. Expect I'm in the minority...

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Tuesday 28th Nov

I normally like your posts JB but not sure if this one is tongue in cheek or not?! It's a worse view of the situation and shows that the lino had a dreadful view as he appears directly behind the players - who would therefore have been obstructing his view!

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Tuesday 28th Nov

But after such an injury, I don't think someone is going throw a few million at him. Not in January anyway. I think our results improved more because of Gyo/Hamer stepping up - less so the team just doing better generically with O'Hare out of the team. When he was fully fit, he was a key player...

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Tuesday 28th Nov

Managed to watch most of the game last night and thought the following: * The goal did look like it came from the ball being out. That said, it's hard to definitely say without a 'down the line' view. Although the linos were pretty poor all game, it's hard to blame them for that one as his...
