Would you take relegation if it meant the end of Sisu ?

yes, yes 1000 times yes. If they stay we are getting relegated anyway, not this year probably but almost certainly next year. Our form since early Jan has not only been relegation form but adrift at the bottom of the table form.

    If we went down....

compared to now, not just happy and content but fucking delirious, we'd be excitingly looking forward to playoffs at the end of the season. Complaining about the fans coming out of the woodwork for the big games, not arguing over finance and wondering weather its this season or next season we...

    Seaborne ban

straight red for violent conduct and serious foul play is 3 match ban, straight red otherwise (ie for denying goal scoring opportunity) is a 1 man ban which can be increased by the disciplinary committee This is the standard and correct punishment we have received.

    If we went down....

It didn't include the revenues the club needs to buy them back, but not including the revenues doesn't change anything, there was MASSIVLY!!!!!!! more revenue staying where they were with no food and beverage revenue than moving to northampton. Why are we discussing this? This is stuff from 9...

    If we went down....

They had already worked it out before we moved, the 400k offer was fair. The desperation offer after that was excellent, the offer since we've moved was ridiculously good. moving suppliers etc is a great idea when it allows you to get more for less. But you can't possibly think that applies in...

    If we went down....

the points deduction was sabotage, by sisu. they chose not to pay the rent and the consequences from that are completely on them. What do you think they have balanced the wage bill with? They have decimated (intentionally) our revenue to the point of it being impossible to balance the wages...

    If we went down....

No I don't think sisu don't want us to get promoted (ie I do think they want promotion), I absolutely positively stand by the word sabotage though, what else can you call costing yourself millions and millions in revenue to save a tiny fraction of that? I didn't say we'd have got promoted...

    If we went down....

I think crowds would half, northampton are in very good form at the moment so look surprisingly like they might stay up, we'd be in the same league so would lose most of the neutrals they provide, we'd lose the much bigger away crowds, we'll lose those people who went at the start of the season...

    If we went down....

To be fair we have won alot more games in league 1 and if our owners weren't trying to sabotage ourselves at every opportunity we'd have had playoffs both years, quite possibly had a trip to wembley and have a very healthy crowd level for this league as well as being in a much better position...

    to avoid the drop

If you are willing to spend 30 mill on ccfc you'd be foolish giving it to sisu, wait until you can get the club for say 5mill then spend the other 25 reuniting club and stadium and investing in the playing squad. You'll be starting in league 2 probably but thats ok, gives an easy period to be...

    If we went down....

I can't see it changes anything, there is no new stadium so no need to change its size

"we know what direction this club is going in" down, I love his optimism most the time but some times its frustratingly deluded

sorry mate if that was directed at me my humour is obviously too subtle, sorry if you've gone to effort because of my attempt at a joke.

    Fair play to him

fair play to him and the ref but it seems like a poor headline and poor reporting, saying he admitted to a dive suggests the guy tried to cheat and had a change of heart a few seconds later and owned up. Isn't it much more likely the guy messed up his footwork while trying to get around the...

    Monday Morning Stadium Poll

New owners wouldn't buy the club, keep us in northampton for 5 years to then move into a 15k seater stadium outside Coventry, they wouldn't do this because it's bloody stupid, it makes no financial sense whatsoever. Should new owners try this they would get the exact same criticism as sisu...

    Time for Plain Speaking

other than the amount of interest we are paying arvo though (and I get the impression this is only based on a small amount of the debt anyway) it seems to me the total debt is mostly irrelevant once it is higher than the number sisu can get back and I'm sure it is. The amount of debt to arvo...

    Time for Plain Speaking

it was written off when Otium brought the club wasn't it?. I can only assume it was in sisus best interests to do this. Presumably bidding for the club involved giving a percentage in the pound you were willing to pay for for the debts. This of course meant no one else could beat sisu when...

    Time for Plain Speaking

I explained what I'd have done earlier in the thread if I were an evil morally bankrupt company who were willing to put the club into administration to break the lease. When the deal was on the table for a 400k rent take it whatever the lease length, build the new stadium with a company other...
