    Oldham official

Why would the game be off ? Pitch should be fine with the underseal heating, as for car parks and walkways they don't shut Tesco when it snows do they !!

Best match seen in the snow

As for the best match in the snow us older fans will re-call our 5-1 win over Southampton around January 1965 when the majestic George Hudson ran their defence ragged and scored what some will say one of the best goals ever at HR juggling the ball a few times, flicking it over their...

    Wembley Allocation

If we get there we will sell out whatever allocation we get and more it's on April 7th the back end of Easter week, loads of mums, kids, etc,i know a few saying they are going, a family outing . Gate in 1987 was 88000 and we took well over 60k there was a huge bank of City in the terracing in...

    Play-Off Final

We were talking play-off prospects last night and a mate said this years play-off final is at Old Trafford, does anyone out there know if this is correct ?

    robert earnshaw.....?

As regards wages i have been told that a 100k a year is the norm and our highest is 7k a week. So 3k a week for ROD is probably correct, who came here on a free transfer so things like signing on fees etc are calculated in. Good job being a pro-footballer at any level.

    Wood to Wolves?

Not bothered if he stays or goes as i believe Mark Robins will have this base covered. In MR i trust.

    robert earnshaw.....?

Very much on the cards.....apparently, from what i was told last night our owners see promotion as the only realistic chance of getting a lump of money back. A short term contract to the summer wouldn't cost the earth. How old is he ?

ACL and the City Council announcement

Mr Hoffman keeping his head down and being very quiet doesn't mean he has dissappeared and it wasn't him looking to invest or buy anyway, he was just introducing someone who might. As a layman looking in it tells me a lot of groundwork has gone into this, legal eagles will have fine tooth combed...

ACL and the City Council announcement

What is your gut feeling OSB on future re: SISU now. For what it is worth mine is i don't think they will be here come the close season, my concern though is what damage is done before that. I suspect the main players of last years buyout scenerio are still around, just hope their backers are.

ACL and the City Council announcement

This may have been said already but can't be arsed to read through all these texts. Got part of Councillor Mutton's interview on CWR this morning and he said the £14mill hadn't come from reserves didn't catch where he said it was actually from but did say CCC were credited with being a good...

ACL and the City Council announcement

In other words OSB58 the council/ACL have well and truly shafted SISU !!

    Tim Fisher - Pay

Not broached this subject yet as the word takeover sets all sorts of emotions off, but my belief is there are still possibilities in that department and last years people haven't gone away, i am certain all this rent debacle is linked and part of the whole scenario. Interestingly i believe Mark...

Why rearrange Tranmere for midweek night in January?

Perhaps Robins wanted to get it in before SISU flog off half his squad.

Does Leon Clarke need a strike Partner?

With dipsticks like this as a fan god help us, Leon Clarke has hardly played since November which has been pointed out on numerous times but still doesn't sink in. Clarke has played 4 times almost scored with his first touch v Shrewsbury, scored against PNE and missed a sitter v Carlisle but...

    Tim Fisher - Pay

I think the money pot for the JPT is shared obviously with the winner getting the most and so on, i bet that includes the Wembley gate receipts too.

    Tim Fisher - Pay

Way back when he joined to replace the last c.e.o. I am sure i read somewhere that part of Fisher's remit was to find a suitable buyer for the club, I have read nothing regards that since, perhaps i was dreaming.
