Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Yep. Another area that needs a rethink in the calculations. Need to consider the benefit of redevelopment in other areas and the knock on social benefits and reduced costs dealing with the problems.

    Callum O'Hare

Just because we've had quite a lot of success with our recent foreign signings but less with our lower league ones doesn't mean that is always the case. Some of our best players in the past have come from lower league. We've also signed some absolute dross from abroad.

It's also helpful when you have a fairer, more equal society, as everyone feels like they're contributing equally. Here with massive inequality the rich think they're shouldering too much of the tax burden and why should they pay for stuff they don't use while the poor are just lazy scroungers...

    Callum O'Hare

I can understand that if we're playing a three, but O'hare does do a lot of running and if we can get him back to pre-injury levels he is more than just an attacker. But either way I feel it's good to have different options and styles to bring in to give the opposition more to worry about.

To be fair that has a lot of wiggle room. No new taxes could be interpreted as I won't invent any new taxes (though would rule out a wealth tax). "No new taxes" is not the same as "no increases to existing taxes".

Don't think Stamenic is an AM so not a comparable alternative. And means we could go after O'Hare/replacement and Stamenic.

    Callum O'Hare

Always his secret plan to stay - not play as well so other teams don't offer as much and he can say to his agent "Why don't I just sign the Cov deal?" 🧐

    Callum O'Hare

Depends on which is preferable to every individual. Spending a fair few million in transfer fees on someone like Rudoni or potentially keeping O'Hare? I wonder if that might be where the new deal has come from - they've looked at the overall cost of other alternatives and decided that it's...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I know this might sound a bit mad, but I think we may well be at a point whereby things like tax bands and to an extent tax rates should be sorted from the data/stats, rather than being used as much as a political football. One of the main points of tax is to redistribute wealth by taking from...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I agree. The Green policies I like, I really like. But the ones I don't I really don't. However, I've said before I don't think nuclear is a feasible long term alternative. Plus there is the cost, the time it will take to bring it online and the long term environmental aspects of storage and...

    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

Read that as we're showing games on onlyFans! Sounds like a Brody idea. Give £10 if you want to see Sakamoto get round the back and swing his balls in, or give £20 to see Thomas go in hard on the opposition centre-forward.

    Boring

It's ridiculous. I'm smothering myself in Deep Heat rather than Ambre Solaire.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

I rater see 'QE' used to help pay for much needed infrastructure improvements than more austerity that just leads to a downward spiral. Especially considering we used QE to bail out a private sector that caused it's own problems.

I do agree about the ridiculous amount of flat car parks that take up the hospital footprint, but I did hear there re problems with MSCP's there because of the proximity to the river and the weight of the buildings and cars in a small area.

    Transfer Rumour Marko Stamenic

I can't speak for King, but if I were him I'd be thinking that the FA Cup run has given us a lot of exposure and maybe there is the possibility of some players being willing to join that ordinarily wouldn't. If we don't have as good a run next year that chance might go, so we have to strike...

With a pre-season to up his fitness and tactical understanding I'm hoping we'll be seeing Torp's better performances on a more consistent basis next season.

I Explored the 5 WORST AREAS to Live in COVENTRY!

Wouldn't this be done just by painting double yellows? Have to change the rules allowing more people to build drives on their front gardens, which will have a knock-on effect with drainage. Also a lot of houses that had parking provision are unsuitable in the modern world. Garages built down...
