Playing elsewhere ! Who says so ?

All these posts and threads about having to play elsewhere, who says ? . These latest events are the opening shots of what is likely to be a bitter scrap. Have ACL said the Ricoh is off limits ? No, not even met yet. Stop all this scaremongering.Things will of been discussed and the possible...

    Am I right in thinking?!?!

Remember sisu are a foriegn company operating in Britain, the rules/law may be different we will have to wait and see, my guess is this is a delaying tactic

    Confused.com

The trouble is none of us really know whats what. I always thought there will be a twist here and a turn there, but stay cool. Things will map out of that i'm certain. The court case starts tomorrow at 10.30 not tonight. SISU are getting desperate and i can't see any financial sense in their...

    Mark Labovitch, Really?

But what if Coventry Rugby club amalgameted with another, there are i believe two current top flight clubs looking for new homes Saracens is one the other could be Wasps, that would elevate Cov into the top flight and if they are getting 1500 gates now in the lower reaches of the rugby pyramid...

    Mark Labovitch, Really?

Don't you think this hasn't been discussed in depth and is why this issue is in court tomorrow morning. As for the loss of £1.3 million rent that has already been offered to be reduced by 60%

    Outcome of tomorrow

It's a public hearing so plenty of hacks local or otherwise will be there. This could be a very interesting website tomorrow night.

    Outcome of tomorrow

As i see things the only way to avoid administration being imposed is for sisu to agree out of court to getting out and selling up. I am hoping that's what will happen. Srangely the continued silence this week gives me a bit of hope something like that will happen.

    Mark Labovitch, Really?

For a start Coventry Rugby club have money issues, so they could sell the Butts, thats if they own it and rent for the Ricoh would be negotiable. A lot of well heeled local business types support Cov. now Also don't underestimate the gate a successful Cov rugby team could get, wouldn't be that...

What players would you like to leave the club in the summer?

Depends what happens, if the American gets involved and is good to his word on money for the team i would think most of todays squad would be replaced, but then if we are as we are now most will be kept on, no real alternative.

    Outcome of tomorrow

    A. unless sisu can demonstrate to the court they can run the business solvently. Having unpaid debt, not submitting accounts to Company House and ignoring a previous court order regards paying rent owed is hard to defend. For what reason would a decision be deferred ?

    Mark Labovitch, Really?

Th e only way CCFC will not be playing at the Ricoh is if SISU liquidate them, there is no other ground option despite the threat.

    Mark Labovitch, Really?

So what ? Do you think any new owner of the Ricoh isn't going to maximise it's uses. Plenty of examples of Football clubs and Rugby clubs sharing grounds. I suggest you get your head out of the sand my dear.
