lol
Doesn’t take a genius to work out that right now the second option voters can be added to robins in. Then after Saturday they can be added to either side depending on result.
So currently it’s 10% out, but that will rise to 28% if we lose on Saturday.
I agree there are too many but I prefer polls to one user deciding their opinion is the final verdict and posting a new thread with an essay on the subject.
Top 6 most expensive squad in the league
Flogging “Premier League Packages” to our fans
Using the “UP” slogan for our marketing
King saying 3/5 years in the playoffs
Robins saying we’ll give it a real go this season
Pundits/blogs/bookies etc having us firmly in the playoff picture
All that...
I was singing Robins’ name on Tuesday. I’ll always support him and the team at games. That’s an entirely different thing to expressing my opinion on whether he’s the right man for the job now.
As I said, the polls are more useful to me because thread discussion is easily dominated by a handful of users and not always representative of the general view.
Maybe it is embarrassing. But the position we’re in as a club is pretty embarrassing right now.
Big coaching teams are the future. I really don’t think anyone can argue with that, looking at the top teams in the world.
I don’t think Robins has become a bad manager, he just might not have the right skills for that kind of system.
System based manager who wants to move the ball forward quickly rather than focus on retaining possession, potentially playing a higher line to squeeze the opposition.
Preferably good experience of first team management at a decent level. Although I wouldn’t be averse to recruiting someone who...
Twice last night he beat a player in his own area.
He looks unconvincing because there’s no movement and we have a donkey like Lati that need acres of space to control the ball.
When the keeper has it in his own box you expect him to have 1-2 easy out balls and we very rarely did.
I think the thing is at this point is that he’s tried so many different combinations of players, and has now even switched the formation yet none of it seems to have worked. I worry that he’s lost the confidence of the dressing room to turn this around and that’s pretty impossible to get past.
Imagine if we hadn’t scored those stoppage time goals at Wolves last season.
That Wembley visit is surely the only thing keeping MR in a job at this point.
