Match Thread Barnsley vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 30th Mar

Great away day yesterday with my lad. Really enjoyed the game and it was nice to hear some Barnsley fans say that we were the best team they had played this season whilst we were walking back to the car. Only negative point was the idiots smashing the seats. It was actually kids no older than...

    Barnsley Boozers

According to Google that’s almost 6 miles from the ground?

Ground share will be a disaster

I think if it was Rugby or Nuneaton they would due to the following in those areas already. Anywhere else though I agree.

Ground share will be a disaster

Even if it was 50 miles away?

Exactly the point we’ve been making.

    Cyber attack on the trust

This was kind of my point earlier. You are using a hotel network and the head office/server will be in Southampton not Gatwick. That’s where you are logging into so that’s where the location of your ip address will be. It’s not inaccurate.

Them naming the location is pointless. I'm sat in Coventry now but my head office is in London. If i go onto iplocation.net it shows i'm in London at the head office.

    Cyber attack on the trust

I don't know them personally so don't quite share the same view on them but i would say that is exactly what has happened in one of them using an open wifi connection. If they release the IP address i can easily find the source so not sure why its top secret.

    Cyber attack on the trust

Very strange. I'm with Nick on this, it all seems very strange and it won't be hundreds of items in the log files it will be thousands. But on a serious note why the hell is the "Sky Blue Trust" using a hosting company based in Leicester! Grrrrrrrr

    Cyber attack on the trust

If they have the IP address then its no hacker, if they know how to hack a website they would certainly know how to hide their IP address. I can turn my VPN on it show i'm in Spain but really i'm sat at home watching City on iFollow! Have they said what the IP address is?

3 roads lead off Clifton Road to the ground. Butlin Road goes all the way to the ground. Townsend road leads onto Butlin Road so it’s just the last few yards where they are merged. Can’t remember the name of the 3rd.

    Feelings Towards Ricoh Arena Now

Just had a look at Wasps total attendance and didn’t realise how much it had dropped. 2016/17: 234K 2017/18: 192K 2018/19: 129K Over 100K drop in just 2 seasons.

The ground is in better condition than a fair few I’ve been to in L2 & L1 the last couple of seasons. It currently holds 6K so any planning permission I guess would be over time to increase to 9K not from day 1. Segregation is also ok, Kidderminster took 2K the other season but I imagine we...

I would be if I could fine mine! Paid extra for gold writing and last time I looked the gold ones were all faded.

    Feelings Towards Ricoh Arena Now

Yep. No match day experience just a big empty stadium with no atmosphere. HR days used to meet up with mates at 12 and have a great day out. I can’t think of anything nice to say about the Ricoh.

    Feelings Towards Ricoh Arena Now

I hate it. Always have. I don’t even go to home games anymore after being an ST holder for 36 years.

Massive Cov following in Rugby already, not so much the younger kids but blokes in their 30’s & 40’s like me. In the late 90s early 2000s even the Legion had a Rugby branch lol
