He will come back, does it matter when we are averaging almost 3 goals a game?

The BBC report: The visitors did pull one back from the penalty spot on 68 minutes via Imran Louza but Coventry coasted to a sixth win on the trot to extend their lead to four points at the top of the table before the afternoon kick-offs.

They didn't look too bad against West Brom in the week

I would be interested to know what midfield we should have played given our availability.

It feels a bit like last year's run of 9 out of 10. Some of those games we could easily have lost and we didn't play well in all of them. Sometimes it just goes like that. 6 wins on the bounce, averaging 3 goals a game, won the most games in the league with only Middlesbro being able to equal...

Currently 7 points ahead of 3rd. Only Millwall and Bristol can close that gap and they both have tough games

But it took a run of something like 27 points from a possible 30 from memory. It can be done but that sort of run won't be achieved from a lower team often.

Jury is still out on them. So far they have beaten Watford, Blackburn, and Oxford, they have lost all the rest. Those results, 2 of which were 1-0 don't immediately shout top 6

    The very big question

These things generally tend to sort themselves out, we will get more injuries, hopefully the timing allows us to keep playing a winning team, and not worry too much who to leave out

    Something nice about this run...

Most teams that do what we are doing without the massive parachute money achieve it with cynical football, a bit like a good version of Norwich, but we are so far, achieving it with entertaining and attractive football. That will always win over the neutrals

    Points needed

Boxing day against Swansea is game 23, half way through. After Watford & Sheff U, most of our games until then are against teams currently in or around the top 6, the only ones that aren't are Ipswich and Southampton. So a very difficult run of games. But even looking at it pessimistically I can...

Don’t judge us till we’ve played 10 games

I think Norwich was just one of those games when nothing goes your way. We had an xG of over 4 for that game. The Oxford game was the really disappointing result, ahead twice and giving away 2 soft goals (and being naive to some cheating)

    Next block of 5

I've said it before, I think we will lose one of those, and I don't think it will be on Tuesday. Would be V happy with 3 wins and a draw. 10 points

I think we have to get used to the idea that we are every team's cup final now, at least until we lose a game or two. And teams can play against us with freedom because they are not going to face major criticism if they lose.

    1966/67. First 10 games.

Yes, but we did have a run of 25 games without defeat up to the end of the season IIRC
