Exactly. Something about this seems off. When bond holders are contacted saying they’ll get their money back on the maturity date, then that rolls around and they’re told it’s another 6 weeks…it doesn’t sit right.

I also don’t think the types of striker we have particularly play to Kane’s strengths. If he wants to cross from deep he ideally needs someone making a near-post run in behind the defence. Walker, for all his faults, made that move quite consistently. None of the others do.

When Kane came in I did think he looked an improvement on Dabo and his delivery in particular was very impressive. Seems to have regressed since then so I’d side with Dabo now. He has the dynamism that Kane lacks.

Haven’t been able to get this out of my head since first listening. It’s quality but it’s keeping me awake at night.
