What is really needed is a midfielder that can score goals. There is a massive hole there. Sheaf/eccless/Kelly wont score many. Even our attacking midfielders Palmer/o hare are not prolific...allen is ok ish. We need a goal scoring midfielder ( wont come cheap).

I think we need just one quality CM addition. 2 would be a waste of money. when Allen is back (hes a big utility midfielder for us) he give us alot of depth. We are still short at centre back.

Is he better than what we got? Eccles has been superb and better than last season so far. For me I'd be looking at players that are better than what we got. Theres a reason hes £2M. I'd be looking at next level above £5M plus player. And I'm not saying this lad isnt good.
