    If it is true....

I'd let all three go, and bring in a keeper and a striker (the type that scores goals)

    Nicky Eaden has gone

He did a good job here. Wish him all the best.

We're walking this league: shots stats prove it

Those stats kind of put to bed the notion that we aren't scoring goals because we aren't creating enough opertunities for the strikers. Mcnulty and Beavon, simply aren't ruthless enough as a partnership.

    The Duck on iFollow

In a way I'm almost glad that Beavon and mcnulty got injured, otherwise the Duck would still be sat on the bench and we would still be wondering where the next goal would be coming from. Vincenti's absence has also given DKE a chance to show what he can do, and I think we need the balance he...

    January transfer window

I'd be happy if we keep jones, and get to hang on to the duck till the end of the season. I hope I'm not asking too much!

Match Thread Swindon Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 26th Sep

Massive night for Biamou tonight, he needs to show he has what it takes to be the first choice striker.

    PONTICELLI

In case you hadnt realised, I was referring to goals scored.

    PONTICELLI

It's odd that MR dosnt think that ponticelli is ready yet, but somehow believes that Beavon is! Personally, I don't think we need to rely on him (ponticelli) scoring all season, but we do need some goals from somewhere between now and January, when the transfer window opens again, and our...

    Devon Kelly-Evans interview

He's had an amazing week, 21st birthday, makes his debut, and scores a goal. Life must be good in the DKE household!

    Rod McDonald

With rod in the back four, even Willis looks like a footballer!

    Professional Performance

I just think he's not quite fit enough yet.

    beavon and vincenti

The players that came in today did a great job, and if nothing else it shows that we now have some genuine strength in depth. MR will have some thinking to do regarding selections in the coming weeks, and the competition for places can only be good for our promotion chances.

    Professional Performance

Exeter were very poor today, which shows that our tactics and the individual performances were spot on. If we can become more ruthless in front of goal we can run away with this league.

    Bobby Gould not happy!

What about that lame daisycutter that our new keeper managed to dive over a few weeks ago? The striker claimed it, the statititions put it down as a shot on target, therefor it's hard to say it wasn't a chance.

    Bobby Gould not happy!

Kwame thomas scored from 25 yards today for Sutton Utd. He hit a very lame free kick that was skilfully avoided by every player and the keeper and ended up in the net. If you see the goal you'd hardly call it a chance, but they all count.

    Bobby Gould not happy!

Not every shot from outside the box is a lame shot. What do we call a 20+ yarder that flies into the top corner?

    Bobby Gould not happy!

Yes I'd agree with that, I said last week that we are unbalanced with Vincenti on the left, hopefully DKE will become a good option from now on. Gould does get a bit carried away, too much passion for a commentator, but he's usually spot on with his analysis.

    Bobby Gould not happy!

No, signed by Gould in 1984.

    Bobby Gould not happy!

He also said Doyle was outstanding, he praised DKE and he said we should lock Jody jones in the building till he signs a longer contract. To be honest, the first half was shit until the last 5 minutes or so, and that's pretty much what the comentry team said, and he did say we were much...
