Ironically another Swede, Amin Sarr at Heerenveen is a similar style. Not as effective as Gyok yet, only 21 & rough around the edges - less direct though I'd say, brings teammates into play too.

Yeah, very good too - again completely different style of player (have a look at his goal map last season, beyond weird!). Obviously BBD is good too & probably a bit more of an all around game to him as well.

McBurnie is very good, the narrative around him not being good enough the last few seasons was always misguided. Completely different skillset to Gyok but the difference is McBurnie needs a team playing a certain way to get the best out of him more than Gyok does. No other striker at this level...

We've offered Alabi out to Step 2 clubs. Can't let them all go though else we'll be short on numbers to field an U21 side.

Yeah, exactly right. Save % is basically worthless as a stat as it totally disregards both the quality and quantity of shots faced. You could have 1 keeper save 1 simple shot & have a 100% save percentage while another saves multiple really difficult shots that you'd never expect them to save...

A physical bully at youth level but looks way out of his depth at this level currently. Just seems to want to fight, commits the most fouls of any player in the league.

Exactly what you'd expect really. We were never getting battered even in the poor early run but coughed up a lot of easy chances. From the Middlesbrough game on our defence in particular has been exceptional, barely conceding any chances of note.

They've not been particularly good all season, their underlying data shows their early season form was never sustainable, dragged up by some great individual performances & more than a slice of luck. I wouldn't be surprised to see them slide down the table.
