John fleck do we need him

In my opinion Fleck needs a tough guy next to him, the team needs a tough nut. He can play, he can create, he does put his foot in but he is not an out and out ball winner in a Shaun Derry mould, get someone like him and Fleck will play a lot better more consistently.

    Football v Rugby Union

You do have a point Nick, a dipstick behind me was just shouting pointless obscenities willy-nilly and shit himself when I asked him to stop. I can swear with the best of them, but with nippers around, no. I don't think it's all to do with beer though, I think it's a mind set and for some reason...

    Football v Rugby Union

Went to Walsall Saturday, rugby sunday. So I am comparing the 2 experiences really. Gate at Walsall just under 6000, 15000 at the rugger. Was behind the goal not far from the corner were there were a few city fans in the other stand, all match I was being eye-balled by fat looking to be tough...

An outline idea for a change of CCFC ownership

What a stupid statement, what difference to ccfc does it make who goes to Wasp rugby games ? and I'm not convinced that many Sky Blue fans go anyway.

    This Swindon Protest...

Then take him to a Wasps home game where fans treat each other and their own kids with respect, I take my grandsons to footie and the Rugby, was at Walsall yesterday had some foul mouth saddo behind screaming obscenities at the top of his voice until I asked politely to stop as there were kids...

    Mcindoe Scam

Interesting, I remember the Ponzi scheme being used on a much smaller scale in a number of Coventry car factories in the 80s. Basically sell brand new cars for a little less than half price cash to one or two at each factory, they run around boasting how good it is and they unintentionally...

    SISU bring in PR company

If sisu have hired a PR company as big as Portland then the question has to be why and what is Portlands brief, it certainly isn't us the fans won't make another 5000 turn up for home games will it. Portland deal with many blue chip companies in the main, good PR raises profiles, we, we being...

How many are calling for Pressley's head tonight?

I went today, we won 2-0 which is great, but I still think as we stand we are one of the favourites to finish in the bottom 4. Now if Pressley gets to bring in 3 or 4, add them to what we had yesterday plus Johnson, Madine and Martin then maybe things can improve. I don't rate Steve Pressley as...

If that is the truth Steven Pressley should resign !!

    Madine deal hits snags

I think Gary Madine is a free agent in the summer so I believe he is free to negotiate a move elsewhere, as for a fee at the very least Madine will want a signing on fee. My guess he has an idea now where he is heading and I doubt it is here. Yet again we will find we are used as a shop window...

Coventry Council WILL support a new stadium...

You earn atmosphere with good exciting winning football, to be honest you can almost count the number of decent games like that over the last few seasons on a couple of hands, just to prove that statement games like Leeds, Wolves and Preston have been posted as decent exciting games which...

Coventry Council WILL support a new stadium...

Err, there's been an airport at Baginton for years so I don't think it was airplane noise, I think it was to do with the infrastructure around the likes of Ryton, Baginton and Bubbenhall. As said to get planning for a football stadium there, a huge doubt

I suppose it confirms another name to the ones who had a go after the Worcester debacle.

    Coventry United

I don't know a lot about Coventry United and hardly follow their progress, the chap I was speaking to told me they were 5 promotions from the Conference, I assume he means the league Nuneaton are in and they are flying at the top of their current league, he said they are well backed financially...

    The wonderful CCFC Club shop......

Everything at the club at the moment looks temporary, the season tickets, food sold at the ground, the players and this excuse of a shop. Lets hope it is. My missus went to the shop before xmas and was told due to a robbery a lot of stock is unavailable and won't be replaced before xmas, how...
