No. Depends what you mean by big clubs though. Tbh I think our training facilities and general infrastructure might hold us back in that regard, there are clubs of a similar stature that would look a lot more impressive to prospective players and their agents looking to develop their careers.

If you take off pens which Simms doesn't take their ratios are pretty much the same. He's also 22, not a teenager. His career thus far is actually pretty similar to Simms at the same age stats wise, a few decent but not outstanding loans. Yet we paid £3.5m for Simms but apparently Cannon is...

I know, just felt we deserved a bit more. I don't think neutrals would have realised we got promoted from L2 in the same season and they actually got to the championship before us, and had been in/around the playoffs for a few seasons while we basically came from nowhere.

I don't hold a grudge against them specifically but I was a bit disappointed that their "minnow" status got all the airtime and our complete resurrection from all the chaos and despair of the last ~20 years to that point didn't get much of a mention.
