lol If we go up we'll need basically a whole new squad, so that is irrelevant. How is his performance from last season irrelevant? At 33 he's unlikely to have dropped off a cliff physically since then. It shows what he's capable of.

Paterson was good in this league last season. His 5 month contract will barely cost us anything. Maybe they're considering an extension if he can get a bit sharper.

To be fair I'm glad he took it Being a striker he was always likely to end up taking one at some point, even though I don't think he'll ever be a good penalty taker. It didn't cost us anything in the end and now I'm sure if the same situation arises it will be given to someone else.

Wright has been a quality pen taker for us, his only miss was So'ton where he slipped because of the pitch
