Bomb Squad not even allowed treatment?

Yep. If you're a good player or manager and you leave the club for a better deal you're a 'judas'. If on the other hand you're a player that we don't want anymore, and you don't leave when you're told to, you're a waster. When you've got a squad as thin as ours, with the embargo likely to go...

    Mark Robins knew the score.....

To be honest, I think most people have drawn their own conclusions as to who got us into this mess, and the vast majority seem to come out against SISU. That's hardly surprising, there's a stack of pretty robust evidence against SISU in terms of published accounts, £60m debt, Fisher's...

    Mark Robins knew the score.....

Let's be honest - Robins knew nothing other than what TF told him. I'd respect him a lot more if he told the truth, which was that he'd been offered a lot more elsewhere. Didn't even TF allude to that in one of the forums. Regardless if you're going to use Robins statement as evidence that...

    Media Blackout

I can't see how in a legal sense Appleton can 'demand' a blackout. He can ask both sides to keep quiet, but I'm not aware of any legal powers that he has in this regard. Given how pathetically badly he's handled this, I think if I was ACL and it suited me, I'd just tell my side of the story...

    CVA meeting today

I see your point, but actually I don't thnk it is pretty sensible. It breaks their own rules, leaving them open to legal challenge from the other side in this specific case, and in some ways actually gets in the way of negotiation. If the FL say "play by the rules", SISU have to talk to ACL...

    CVA meeting today

So then, we're still in Admin, and likely to remain so for at least another six weeks. I presume that the offer to play for free at the Ricoh still stands, and Otium can't legally do a deal to play at Sixfields (given that CCFC Ltd hasn't actually been sold to them). Over to you, Football...

    CVA meeting today

One, actually, she is a complete mug when it comes to her involvement with a football club Two, the couple of reports you linked to regarding planning strategy don't exactly make CCC a bunch of liars. Three, the Caps Lock button on your keyboard seems to be stuck. You can get a new one at...

    CVA meeting today

In fairness, if that's true and he's wearing one of those special jackets that do up from the back, he's pretty good at typing with his nose. ;)

    Has this ever been explained

It's just completely implausible, isn't it. A business that has accumulated £60m of debt, never turned a profit, that will lose even more money over the next five years and alienate a large proportion of it's customers, and will need to take on further debt to develop a new (smaller) stadium...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

You could just as easily argue that the directors would have failed in their duty if they did vote for the CVA, and closed down all further avenues of a better potential outcome (new owner and/or new deal on current lease, and/or investigation of CCFC Ltd leading to the same things plus possible...

    Joy Victoria Sepella

Absolutely, which makes TF's suggestion that we build a statue for her even more fatuous. The only thing that interests me about JS is that it's seemingly been admitted by all parties that she makes the final decisions. This basically makes her a shadow director. Which exposes her personally...

    Let me ask..

Personally, I think SISU forced the Administration by not paying the rent and not negotiating in good faith. At the point ACL went for the admin order we were very unlikely to hit the play offs given the points total we required, our form, and the number of clubs above us. ACL haven't lumbered...

Your Choice, Take 15 Point Deduction or ACL Sign CVA?

Reject the CVA. We need a proper investigation into what's gone on at the club, and also to Appleton's performance as Administrator, imho. The longer this drags out, the more pressure can be brought to bear on SISU and the FL. Don't quit now.

    Money Laundering in our games

When I worked in banking, here were the red flags that were drummed into us to identify potential fronts for money laundering: Multi-layered companies, with complex accounting structures, especially where some parts of the organisation were registered in locations beyond regulation (e.g. The...

    Injured FC

Ha. Me too. Used to sit just to the left of the goal, right at the back. Couldn't see the ball half of the time. Loved it. Great memories. :)

    Injured FC

Aha - I've dug it out, thank you wikipedia, but I'm going to leave it as an open question. Played once for us as a sub, scored, was injured and never played again. On the books for 13 months though, according to Wiki. Supposed to be one of the toughest men in footy, at the time. Anyone guess?

    Injured FC

Striker, from the North East, I think. Rock hard. Played one game, or half of one game. Scored and went off with a back injury. Best goals to games ratio ever! Can't rememember his name. In the 1990's, iirc. Anyone help?

    Acl/cva

Or you could make the case that by voting down the CVA there's a proper investigation into SISU's affairs, and the prospect of a new owner who intends to do business with ACL, rather than trying to shaft them. Since the shareholders are the council and the Higgs Trust, they may prefer that...
