Pictures of Cov in the past and Coventry Pubs

Tell you what, when I've got grandkids they're going to hear the tale of the time Grandpa won the £15 jackpot on Sir Win-A-Lot in the Walsgrave and repeated it twice when he should have been in college.

I used to like the Bolshie up at the top of Barras Common on a Sunday. We'd stroll up as my friend's old man would be in there, play the bandits for a bit, then the Old Red Horse or Barras Club for a bit of pool and then home. Anyone who played Theme Park in the 90s is wise to the thirst trick. Double the amount of salt on the chips, soft drink sales skyrocket! You then had to hire cleaners for all the sick, so it was a real balancing act

Gilbert can only really do as his industry now dictates which isn't his fault. Some of his more bullish responses on Twitter can't help someone also trying to sell a book at the same time though. Les Reid's avatar is a webcam screengrab of that time he won the hipster Olly Murs contest.

    Simon Gilbert's Book

I started it after Christmas but after a chapter or two little has compelled me to carry on. The writing was all a bit too matter-of-fact, as if reading from a compilation of Wikipedia posts.

Atlanta have really been an attacking force and the Packers' defence is susceptible, but even playing in the Georgia Dome all I can see is a Packer win. Rodgers has got some kind of weird slow motion Hollywood hero thing going on at the moment.

Football needs more flat caps. You see photos from the 1920s and everyone's dressed so sharp, not a single gut pushing polyester to its limits.

    red bull again

The Leipzig club are considered brand new as Red Bull bought the licence to play from a local club in order to avoid starting from the bottom, but they took over New York and Salzburg who retained the pre-sugar history so they don't have a blanket policy of starting from scratch.
