Yeah, I got that and I read the reviews. Most said it was worth watching for Jake Gyllenhaal's performance alone and that was very good and it is a remake of the original Danish film, with the exact same plot. That film has fabulous reviews.

I didn't get the twist first thing. Think I was too invested in Jake Gyllenhaal's character. Wasn't a surprise when the twist came though and I thought that bit was poorly executed.

Don't get me wrong, The Guilty was ridiculous at times, but then Vigil was this ridiculous times 10 and I liked that too, daft as it was.

I liked it. It's got average reviews, but is held together by Jake Gyllenhaal's performance. I think this is exactly where I would place it. Around 6/10.

I tried it once and did exactly that, missed bits of the game. You can't type and watch at the same time. After that attempt, I went back to only posting pregame half time and when there were breaks in play for injuries. I think we were all eternally grateful for that.

That's the thing isn't it. It's all been done before and all been done to death. There are no surprises anymore and it's very predictable. Can't believe it has been going for 11 seasons now. 😳

Just catching up now with the new series. Unfortunately, I am finding it incredibly predictable. I am second guessing everything that is going on and going to happen. And then some of the decision making and moves are so ridiculously dumb too. Like with the young lad on the train carriage...
