Match Thread Coventry City vs. Burton Albion Match Thread - Friday 8th Mar

Has to be a win right? The next two home games won will give us that outside chance of the playoff's. No excuses if you want to try and make a playoff place. It has to happen now. The hard work has been done in recent games so I don't expect the players or MR's to throw that away! 3-0

    Do wasps need CCFC?

Would you let go the potential of a football club that it's presence would ensure better sponsorship, a way to keep the community happy and as with all football clubs the prospect of increasing the revenue you get as the footfall increases? CCFC is capable of filling the stadium with 20k/30k on...

Match Thread Accrington Stanley vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Mar

If you can win against fancy teams or draw as we did at Luton, win at home and win against hard unfashionable sides like today then as a team you are growing and developing really well. Our young side is able to do well in poor games rather than lose them. It's a good sign and we are on a good...

5 points off the playoffs. A good run may still be enough

You have to bring on Thomas if you keep Bakayoko on...he needs the service.

Horrible pitch but that has nothing to do with our game plan. Where's our width? We are not closing them down quickly. Yet we are clearly looking capable at times. We need to pick it up the pace. The ball has been like a ping pong ball and the sticky pitch needs fast paced balls to feet.

The answer is simple. Making it happen however...

You're making my point earlier for me James: Every team will be in a similar position with 9 or 10 players coming or going. The core of the squad and the development is most important, something Robin's has got on the right path for success imho

It was a generic reply James. Only the first line pertained to you. :)

The answer is simple. Making it happen however...

You're right James...I don't see negatives. We have a good young talented squad and a few loans. There is no suggestion we will see many departures. They have yet to prove themselves and even Bayliss may think twice about any step up yet simply to warm a bench. What most do on here is see us...

Coming back into confident form and a good run looking likely again. Tough old game at their place but we will have too much for them on the day. A win and we will score a couple.

The answer is simple. Making it happen however...

Why won't we be? Why would we lose all ourbest players? We have an excellent academy system producing the goods like peas in a pod. We may lose Bayliss if anyone but we have another one of those! Plus we have talent side lined long term all due back next season. We have strengthened with Meyler...

I get the sentiment of the OP but you are not thinking straight. We pretty much despise our owners as they have took us through some terrible times. However a couple of things stand out. 1. They stopped with most oftheir shenanigans a while back. 2. They still persue a legal line but tbf have...

How much does a 10,000 seater stadium cost to build ?

If we are liquidated and come back new then yes an airfix stadium with capacity to improve but do you really think that is going to happen? Not a chance! When SISU finally let go lets hope we are still in league 1 or higher. The club is certainly moving in that direction so that being the case...

How much does a 10,000 seater stadium cost to build ?

Bonkers! We would need a stadium big enough to hold around 30k as a minimum tbf. Yes while we are in the depths of despair we average 10/12k but you would have to think ahead sensibly.
