Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I knew it wouldn't be popular and a lot would disagree, but I stand by what I posted. I have family that live in a street with trees and it's an absolute mess. Other family that live on a similar road without and it looks much, much cleaner.

Match Thread Coventry City - Hull City Match Thread - Saturday 14th Dec

I'm pretty sure this was a bit tongue in cheek, but you can't approach a home game against one of the clubs at the bottom and play in that manner. It's a hiding to nothing. Even if you win then the fans are disappointed at the negative tactics. Lose at it'd be absolutely toxic. Dovin MvE Thomas...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

No it's not better. it's better to get them to pay their share and if they don't like it then use it to provide opportunities to others. You've fallen for that lie that we can't survive without the super rich.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Might surprise a few on here but in general I'm all for getting rid of the trees planted along residential streets. They cause far more problems than they solve, which basically amounts to a little bit of air cleaning, maybe a bit of drainage and maybe some shade in the summer. On the minus...

Why do you think kai should start? He's hardly changing the fortunes of the U21's so why would he do it in the first team?

I agree. Home against teams that are struggling we need to be more positive. 1 6 and 2 8's rather than 2 6's and 1 8. Rudoni and Torp as the 8's and one of Sheaf or Eccles in the other.

Maybe the thinking is that if everyone else starts the game at 100% then he'll struggle because his fitness isn't there. Bringing him on as a sub evens it up a bit and gives him more time on the ball.

If I were a pro and training every day, I'd notice there were things like that I wasn't good at and spend extra time improving. Simms with his trapping, Sheaf with his shooting, Bassette using his right foot.

Not a very good one seeing as he was his choice if things don't improve. Especially with the rumours that others warned him against bringing in Frank and he supposedly ignored them and did it anyway.

We would have been better off with Robins

While I don't necessarily agree with the OP, the performances/results so far under CCFL have been little different to those under MR. So while I'm hoping Frank does a good job and will support him, it does suggest the problem wasn't the manager.

Not sure many are blaming him. Certainly the first was unlucky and the second is more on the defence/midfield BUT it's another game where they've scored every shot on target with him in goal (arguably scored one more than shot on target depending on the deflection). You can't have a keeper that...

But he reckons they're a 'top 6 deck'. I don't see anything to suggest they are. At some point he needs to acknowledge that but he's been very complimentary of Austin.
