Why are CWR broadcasting on FM & Wasps are on DAB

Want to tell Wasps? all of their "community activities" are focused around what they call "our area- Buckinghamshire, East Berkshire, Middlesex and Oxfordshire" http://www.wasps.co.uk/education/secondary-schools-programme Secondary Schools Programme Our Secondary School Coaching Programme...

pretty certain that the Council line at the time was that it would be impossible to do an Economic Impact assessement. Now it's happy to accept the provision of one for the impact of London Wasps moving in.

Previous council assurances about the viability of ACL without the Football Club had been proven to be wrong. The Council denied actively misleading the public but said they information they had been given about ACL 'washing its face' was inaccurate. With their track record of failing to...

    Ann Lucas

Yep I thought she was right about King, and I was depressed by the club's pursuit of, and employment of, him on the basis that he'd be a good player for us. Over on GMK this created a pretty major squabble - I seem to recall Capt M, me and you being in the minority. To be fair to her (in this...

Oakey beat me to link. £13k basic allowance plus special allowances. The leader got £34k in allowances in 2013-14. I'm not against these by the way.

Right but trust has to be earned. How do we know they properly scrutinised the information they were given? They clearly didn't when told that ACL was "washing its face"!

Maybe taking the decision to sell ACL to London Wasps Holdings behind closed doors in a private session of a council meeting, and the council's subsequent admission that they got the viability of ACL without the football club so badly wrong contribute to the public being 'not well briefed'.

No! We've not beaten them in the league at Deepdale. Ever. Beaten them twice in cups, 1910 in the FA Cup and 2000 in the League Cup http://www.11v11.com/teams/coventry-city/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Preston%20North%20End

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

And will have done so in a closed part of the meeting because of "commercial confidentiality". In the public part of the councillor meeting not a single council questioned the rationale for the sale or the authenticity of the estimated figures.

    so it was Reda

He arrived back in Manchester on Friday night according to CWR. There is nevertheless a big difference between a goalkeeper coming back from Europe and playing the next day and an outfield player coming back from Africa

Todays council meeting will be held in public

Cllr Joseph Clifford said he once trusted someone which was a mistake because he didn't have the facts. I'm taking this as a gnomic reference to the football club. Now he asks us to trust him, (because presumably he has all the facts). Cllr Lucas finishes with a nice Government 101 lecture -...
