I've been listening to Doves recently as my son left two of their albums behind as he moved out a year ago.Their debut Lost Souls,and The Last Broadcast. Really good especially Lost Souls, nice and mellow !

In the year we won the Cup 87 U2 released The Joshua Tree and to mark the anniversary of the album they're doing a world tour,and the concerts will see the band performing all the tracks. It is a great album but got me thinking what other bands album would you like to see be performed again ...

Great piece in the paper today about a bloke aged 98 who goes to the gym 5 times a week and does 90 minute work outs. Shows him lifting weights,crunches,rowing,bike,and press ups. The blokes awesome as he only visits his doctor twice a year. Amazes me how age is no barrier,he looks really...

If you want to go to the Slough you can park right outside the reserve. Do you know the Bird In Hand pub ? Its close to the boozer or the chippy we mentioned okay ? You can't miss it.

Its situated between Wood End and Aldermans Green. As I'm in Bell Green it's handy for good walks. Its been cleaned up well over the years and lots of wildlife etc.
