He is a bit clumsy at times but he makes things happen, very direct player. That run he did directly from kick off would have been talked about years if he had a better finish or pass at the end of it.
Had some other good moments which he pretty much created himself.
I dunno about a lot but one that stands is when he broke though from midfield, he had Nouble and Jackson running either side. Tried to slide in Nouble but was a poor pass
So basically you are saying Thomas doesn't do any of these things.
So he isn't a great passer or dribbler, he doesn't have pace, can't really shoot, not a great tackler and can't cross.
Is your post meant to be in defence of Thomas?
That's half the problem, 11k and the turnstiles and tickets offices were in meltdown.
It gives them two weeks to sort out the basics now till the Preston match, which is only the beginning. After that it's about introducing and putting in place new initiatives to bring back the fans.
I know someone who bought tickets online before hand and missed the first 10 minutes of the match because he was queuing to collect.
Agreed hopefully the two week break will give the club a chance to sort out the problems. Getting the basics right is only the beginning though.
The fan base potential is there, it's up to the club to get them coming through the gate.
People aren't going to queue up for 1-2 hours and do all the running around and chasing for tickets in a regular L1 fixture.
Yea he looked really sharp today, not just the quality but picking up second balls and his reactions seemed really sharp. He was two steps ahead of anyone else on the pitch at times today
Great result, blew them away the first 15 minutes. Rest of the game was pretty even but we just about edged it.
Really excited for the rest of the season now
How do they predict the walk up? Is there any logic behind it or do they just pull a figure out of the air and say yep we're predicting the biggest walk up ever.
It's still in effect by the looks of it, lots of information about Bradford tickets in the link I posted in my previous post, they sold 9.5k season tickets and 2.5k of there flexitickets by June.
More information here...
Took me two minutes to find this, as of June they had sold 9.5k season tickets sold + 2.5k flexicards which is still a great effort. I'd imagine they would have sold more since June so they are over 10k. From a quick look at the article Bradford were charging £200 for an adult season ticket...
