Kasper Schmeichel and Jordan Henderson did okay after their loans to us too.

Was it a straight red, on top of the yellow he received earlier?

    Waghorn

When the original post stated Kelly signing, I assumed he meant his initial signing. If he was referring to signing a new contract then that's a different argument.

Exactly, thanks to the likes of Kelly.

Are you serious that Liam Kelly was a bad signing after what he has done for us since league 2?

Wilson 7 (looked indecisive on crosses but very good penalty save. Also liked the way he kept the ball on the ground rather than chipping it to wingbacks) Kane 7 (battled well. Crossing a bit hit or miss) Rose 8 (deducted a point for giving away pen but was excellent otherwise) McFadzean 8...

He has won every challenge and has intercepted a few times putting us on the front foot.

Hyam has been excellent first half. Best I have seen him at LCB. Gyokeres close control with back to goal is superb. Good half from him too. Shame about left foot finish.

Not sure why we would be looking to move Tavares on? He has done enough this season to see if he can continue to develop next. He isn't a physical presence but he is quick footed and has proven he knows where the net is. The standard in U23s is obviously not the same but the size of the goal is.

    Championship 21/22

Luton dreadful v Blackpool. Don't think they will do much in the playoffs given this performance.

I think so too. Coming back with so few games left, just recovering from injury seems to me he is likely joining us.

If Carroll plays you would like someone collecting crosses, which Moore is better at.

    McFadzean extension

His performances have declined in the second half of the season. If that trajectory continues I don't see him as starting next season. He would be useful from the bench if defending a lead and having the ball hoofed into the box. I am surprised his comments too, which I don't think will win him...

21/22 Player of the Season Vote

I voted Gyokeres. He is a menace for defenders. If he can improve his finishing and we can hold on to him, we will have a top striker next season. He has improved so much since he came on loan. Hamer on his day I would say is the stand-out player but he blows a bit hot and cold.

Tough one for most improved player between Hyam and Gyokeres for me.

    Ratings vs Bournemouth

Hamer's only flaw that I can see is his discipline - positional as well as bookings. Technically he has so much quality. For Gyokeres' first full season (playing regularly) he has shown he is a real handful. If he can improve his finishing he could be a star. O'Hare is a dynamo but he lacks...

Match Thread Bournemouth (H) Easter Monday

Liam Kelly is in no way a similar player to Hamer so pointless comparing. Why not just be pleased that a player who has given so much to our progress has got back to fitness.
