    Adam Le Fondre - Update

He scored more than our other forwards!

    Adam Le Fondre - Update

How many were starts and how many were out wide? And how many has your beloved Le Fondre scored in the top flight? Sorry, I like Roy, and I support our players.

    Crowd

The Chelsea gate and Leeds last season showed that if you give them a hint of hope, a load of the stayaways will come back. I know about 10 of them myself. Leeds brought a big number but even without them, it was a huge City following-superior to the Prem days. And that was based on us looking...

They hadn't even bothered to flush the squirrels out of the stands! But I do like the new sauce dispensers :)

    Adam Le Fondre - Update

OK then, he was our best striker in preseason and had as good a goal ration in L1 as Le Fondre has in L2. Does that mean anything?

Sisu - is it just possible they are doing it right ?

Honestly, that seemed obvious to me the moment they started using it as an excuse. Really makes you ponder the "we will replace King/match last seasons budget" statements, doesn't it?!

    relegation?

I don't feel as bad as I did at the Bradford game, but I do feel just as worried as I did at the start of the last relegation season. The only other time I've felt this concerned and depressed was when we were under Peter Reids management.

Sisu - is it just possible they are doing it right ?

I really don't believe "getting us ready for next season" is what SISU are doing. "Running us as cheaply as possible" is what they are doing, as they don't want to invest/spend/lose any of their cash. The regulations haven't been decided, and neither have the penalties. There's a reason the...

    Adam Le Fondre - Update

Exactly. I think he was very hard done by not to have started on Saturday. We need to be adding to the squad, not leaving it at the same strength. O'Donovan was a 2m player a few years ago, whilst Le Fondre is no guarantee of being a hit at our level.

    Sisu protest

Nah, I'll either have an aneurysm or get evicted from the stadium for foul and abusive language if we get too many more days like yesterday

    Article: Player Ratings v Leicester

Similar to mine, but a bit more generous. Thought the McPake rating was a bit out of order! I do think everyones getting a little over-excited about the kids. Maybe understandable to those who hadn't seen them in preseason, but they looked much more hesitant and unsure of themselves in the 2nd...

    Sisu Puppets

And the OP is kinda missing the point...the present board know exactly what their job is. They are SISU "yes men", hired for that very reason. Only one has any connection with the club aside from SISU, and he's a P.R. man, so say no more...

    Starting from scratch

It's have to be something like that to justify it: they've just changed the regulations so that "re-start clubs" can no longer start as high up the pyramid. We'd be in the Midland Alliance, at best. To those wondering, that's 3 divisions below where Nuneaton are now, and a division below where...

    Starting from scratch

They average slightly higher gates than AFC Wimbledon during the FA Cup run, actually...and higher league gates until the last 2 seasons.

Proposition that should/could possibly be discussed?

Something tells me we wouldn't be playing there if we were in L2 or even the BSP-the rent would be too much; in which case we'd surely have to consider a groundshare of some sort? Don't laugh, it could happen. And I think relegation to that level is a lot more likely than 99.9%!

Premiership football within two years, hopefully one ...

It was Brody, in his interview with CWR the night RR was in the studio, but not allowed to speak to Len himself (that woulda been fun). It was the same interview as he promised the "franchise player", and said the replacement for King would be "at least" of the same quality and value. He also...

24th August - Hoffmans Backers meet the SISU Puppets

Carl Baker, surely? Wanted by Brum in January (incredibly!), but never really delivered for us. In which case the red is going to stop any sale for a while. Hussey not vital to first team? Wow.
