    Gary Deegan

He's a very good player who I think will contribute more than Aron when fit. Not his fault he got injured.

    First win of the season

There's no point communicating more if all you do is tell bigger and bigger lies. There has been nothing to put SISU into a positive light since the Watford game, and after the huge row I had with the steward after that game I'm more inclined to bring a banner than ever. Same goes for the...

    Bell or McIndoe

Bell over McIndoe for me. I actually think he's one of our best passers, and is very good at keeping the ball moving when we do get the passing going. I don't think he's fully fit due to a badly timed injury at the start of the season, when players are still building up core fitness leveld. If...

maybe we should take a leaf out of Gael Biggies book

Yes, that was the first thing I thought when I saw it. I hope this one can keep the fire alive a bit longer though. Well, as long as he keeps refusing to leave when they try to sell him.

    First win of the season

There are a lot of very complicated reasons why people dislike SISU, and most of us who want to see the back of them are not naive enough to say "at any cost". But there is no way I will ever change my mind about them in any circumstances now. And Paxman-please don't play the "they saved us"...

If there was a "double-like" button, I'd give that post one.:guitar2:

    CCFC Vs Derby, Crowd Trouble

It seems that everyone with common sense agrees on this one. It is good to see how fans of other clubs stick together when it comes to this sort of thing. So many fans have been through something similar-and a fair few have personal experience of Kenny boy! It reminds me of a quote about...

    First win of the season

Rather than getting all angry reading something that really winds you up or Grinds Your Gears, just add those posters to your ignore list! It really is much better for everyone else. Plus you can have a slightly smug feeling when you see that those people are posting, as they may be replying to...

maybe we should take a leaf out of Gael Biggies book

What an absolute legend. When you hear American sports stars thanking God it just sounds corny, but this kid is like a Gospel-style preacher! HALLELUJAH!!!

    Murphy

That save last night by Dunn was bloody immense. I thought it was pretty good live, but watching it again on TV it looked even better-the ball was shifting. That said, Murphy made 2 decent saves. But I do feel like Dunn could be more commanding than Murphy. Reminded me a bit of Loach at Watford...

    How did Cody do ???????

"I am the ROD Appreciation Society". If Cody ends the season with 8 goals, ROD 9 and Lukas 16 I'll be happy. Anything from Clive and Freddy a bonus at this stage. It's not about one striker, it's about your group of strikers. I got hammered for my last Man U analogy, but think about the way...

    Gael's Celebration vs Derby

BTW Otis thanks a lot, I wake up today with Travis stuck in my head!

    CCFC Vs Derby, Crowd Trouble

Yeah, you'd never want to have ex-sex with SISU. Shudder. There would be no Joy in that whatsoever :(

    CCFC Vs Derby, Crowd Trouble

If you include Watford that's 2-0 actually (both O.G.'s) :D

    Maybe a simplistic view but...

Probably. I guess we either lose Cranie and Sammy then, or lose them in the summer for nothing like we did Aron/Westy/King. So we bring McPake in at CB and hope that Deegan is fit to replace Sammy, with Thomas a bit more experienced by then. That's my vision of the SISU strategy in action, at...

    Maybe a simplistic view but...

Spot on, and Thorn was Ransons man, there is absolutely no doubt about that. Just remember the passion with which he spoke about him on CWR after his resignation. Shame he didn't hire him as gaffer instead of Aidy, eh? We are very lucky that it didn't count against Thorn after Ranson had left...

    Carl Baker - Derby Goal

Nah you are way superior to SKY Torchomatic, and don't you forget it! They should hire you as "Fan Cam" to give a genuine, bouncy, crowds-eye-view :) Surprised there isn't a bit more love for Baker after yesterdays performance. Is it because he's one of the players many fans don't like along...

    david bell

Agreed, only by the end it wasn't just "consistently decent"-it was consistently our best player by some distance. I think it's easy to forget just how good Turner was last season. He was the main reason we were in 4th IMO.

    First win of the season

Spot-on Glenn, as a lot of us were saying last night it was a good game, a passionate performance. Whatever you think of SISU (and a few they'd won around switched off again yesterday!), most fans were unhappy with the way the protests were handled and sang their hearts out to back the team...

    Carl Baker - Derby Goal

His performance against Scunthorpe season before last was the best for me. Him and Stead played some magical stuff, and Torchomatic caught a lot of it on camera. I think it was that performance that promted the Hutch comparisons. It wasn't that class today, but it was something else..funny, I...
