Sorry but have to disagree. I'm still proud to wear Sky Blue and without Jimmy Hill we wouldn't have progressed. Cov City is and always should be Sky Blue.
The only change we want/need is a change of ownership !
Used to drink most nights years ago as the pubs I frequented were lively even during the week. If I missed a night I was wondering if I missed anything ? These days its usually just weekends and often just a Saturday. Friends I used to drink with are either dead or now teetotal ! Add to that...
My mate who's an ex boxer says Joshua will destroy Klitschko. But we all know anything can happen in sport. I recall being in shock when Tyson lost to Douglas !
What a fight this could be ? Joshua could knock him out early doors, but Klitschko could test him in a long scrap. It is an intriguing duel I reckon and is tricky to forecast. But personally I'm going for a Joshua knockout in the 5th round. Anybody agree ?
An elderly couple on my round want me to be their gardener as he can't garden anymore. Lots to do front and back. Could do a few hours on a Saturday to break the weekend up ? See how I feel come August !
I too have never watched Game Of Thrones so ain't got a clue who's in it. In fact I thought Peter Kay was the Smurf ! I thought it was him playing both parts as he likes dressing up and he has Irish roots.Thought it was clever camera work !
The original has to be one of my favourite ever songs. From the intro all the way through its a pop/rock classic. Used to be on the jukebox and played in clubs all the time in 1970's. But the Medics do it justice I feel. Hear they still tour and Spirit In The Sky is the most asked for live track !
I was a kid stood on the Spion Kop with my dad and uncle and the ground was packed.I'm sure we were a first division side then. It was a draw 1-1 and Roger Hunt scored for them. Proper Boxing Day with snow on the pitch !
My son casually once said that he wished he could be in Stereophonics as they've been one of his favourite bands for years.
It got me thinking what band I'd like to be in ? From the past I'd have loved to be in Led Zeppelin. Now I'd opt for Metallica as they're just a great metal band. Just have...
Whenever Lewis is mentioned I think back to when Ian StJohn knocked him out at Highfield Road on a Boxing Day game.Lewis was niggling the fiery Liverpool forward, but did it one time too much and the Scot delivered an uppercut a boxer would have been proud of.I liked Lewis he was a decent player...
