    Willis' Girlfriend

Here is my contender for post of the year-instead of berating the fans for venting their spleen at their shocking performances, how about the players showed some backbone and put in the effort required and show us the talent they think they have?

    Tactics (Jones)

Players peak and trough at various times of their careers, thats a fact, its caused by lack of fitness, injuries, lack of confidence and being in a poor team. Good players spend more time at a peak and lesser players in the trough. That is why they are DIV 3 players.

Match Thread Oxford Utd v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 19th Nov

I understand all of the frustration in this thread but what surprises me is that some of you guys seemed surprised! the performances have been dreadful this season, even the wins and draws, the bounce has been well and truly over for while. I see comments like play Tudgay with Sordell together(...

    Telegraph Spin

The biggest threat to CCFC is the presence of sisu in the City, Wasps have been made a threat by sisu.

    Robbie Keane

Do you really think that Robbie Keane is so desperate he would entertain coming to Coventry?

    Robbie Keane

I would guess that earning a few grand in Coventry or a few million in China or Qatar would be a tough decision.

    Tactics (Jones)

Someone once said management is easy, pick your best eleven available and play to their strengths. It seems to me that too often we are ruining, yes ruining players in the UK by asking players to go against their strengths and do a job for the team. IMO that is poor management as it it weakens...

sky blue trust - useful or misguided

I want sisu and Tim Fisher gone for the good of Coventry City, however in saying that do any of us know his brief? If his brief was to make the club self sufficient then who is to say that he hasn't succeeded? If its the on the field issues we are judging him on then I suggest we are looking at...

    A striker

an opinion dear boy, please note its the point of forums for idiots like me to have a platform and for intellects like yourself to come back at me with your wisdom. Anyhow off back to the fucking sea.

    A striker

What it showed me is that we need a manager more than a striker.

    Form tables

How many games have we played well in? I am sure that we are in the correct position in the table at present, weak and incoherent, no link between midfield and attack and overrun too often as our midfield is lightweight. Yes things are improving slowly but there is truth that the table doesn't lie.

Why do you hate the Villa?

Can't say I have any particular dislike of Villa, When I first started going the rivalry was Wolves and then Leicester and West Brom. Vlilla were in Div 3 and not on the radar, Blues seldom seemed to be in our league and when they were their fans were very naughty. For me Man United were the...

Match Thread Coventry v Scunthorpe Match Thread - Saturday 12th Nov

I watched the game in bein sports and IMO the game was poor, we were poor, Scunthorpe were more streetwise than we were and got the result. Yes the ref wasnt great but you cant blame him for conceding or not scoring. The front three were dreadful and offered very little. Most disappointing.

    last 8 previous 8

from my viewpoint from afar it seems like the monkey has been well and truly lifted off the players back. I went to the Oldham game and we were dreadful in all areas except the keeper who was excellent on the day. I am told performances are not much better but we are getting the results that...

    Ricoh sponsorship

I have no idea how the payment would be structured, however I do know that having a guaranteed (20 million in your post for example) income stream is money in the bank, just like kit deals, kit sponsorship and the like.

    Ricoh sponsorship

I suspect that Wasps are looking to pay off a big part of their debt with the naming rights and I hope they feel that Coventry City can be an asset in this case. Can you imagine what a premiership football team would do for the profile of the sponsor should we be lucky enough to go on that...

Match Thread Morecambe v Coventry Match Thread - Sunday 6th Nov

I would really like us to put a run together and progress to the third round at least and play a decent side at home and give them a good game regardless of the result. Its about time our club was talked about for its on the pitch endeavors, as opposed to the usual, albeit, welcomed coverage of...

I think that is where we should be able to differentiate between CCFC and our owners. Sure the great work that is being done should be celebrated and acknowledged by all true fans but it is hard to see past the crap that sisu have put upon the club during their tenure. I know a Leicester fan who...

    Brexit/SISU

Surely the will of the majority has to be listened to? the time to argue was before the referendum and the people who did not vote forfeited the right to complain IMO. Those that voted to remain were shocked at the result, that much is clear, but the vote has taken place and the result should be...

sky blue trust - useful or misguided

Nick, Wasps are in a position to deny Coventry City access to a stadium that was built for them. That is cruel irony, that Wasps feel that may want to go down that route is due to the actions of the our owners and their representatives. FWIW I hope that all will be resolved but blaming Wasps is...
