Wasps debt is making it the sort of debt laden company SISU could turn around.:angelic:

It is the level of opposition encountered. For instance Asnsty & Whitley South would be less as industrial zoneing is already established in those areas. So they pick a well to do area where you might expect locals to mobilise more effectively.

Why would we be any different

That contract was terminated last year. £195m Ricoh Arena hospitality deal ends 12 years early

Actually we are not certain about what part of the land is being taked about & don't forget substantial on site parking would be needed.

That is obvious now. Also it is clear that if SISU wanted to pick a site that would receive serious opposition to stretch out the planning process they could hardly have chosen better.

For heavens sake man, they clearly want a training facillity to stop player drain due to shitty Broad St porta kabins & have chosen to spend the dosh on Leamington. Why are you chucking out spurious diversions when it is bloody obvious what they're doing, I'm not supporting them I'm merely...

Which is why the SISU plan is suspect, especially in the absense of detail they have made public. What's the betting they are simply creating adverse conditions for their competitor in order to acquire the Ricoh. If they were serious they would not put up with delays and would be folowing up...

True there was a £20m hole in finance, largely due to : a) CCFC messing up land deal, giving land to contracors to cover costs they were unable to meet who then pulled out of project and charged a premium to the council to purchase the land so they could complete the Arena. b) Massive...

Much needs to be explained though. You can't take any of these chancers at their word. Especially gven that we've heard so many different stories over the years, why only 3 months ago the Ricoh was plan A & there was no plan B. 1) How will it be financed so that the club isn't holding massive...

I've said before, this is less about income than having a property asset. Any project like this would be paid for by associated development too, whether that is by flipping Ryton for houses (obvs. seriously considered) or having shops/commercial/residential on the new site.
