Lets not get over-excited, they had 63% possession, about 15 corners and twice as many shots as us. Yes we looked better but still conceded 2 and rode our luck.
It's sad to say that our fans have had nothing to get even vaguely excited about since 1987. Nearly 30 years of grinding shitness with mediocrity at best to aspire to. How many club's fans have had that to put up with?

But yes, if they have even a suspicion that Wasps might struggle they will keep up the pretence.
Your first point kind of underlines my own... If you don't even live in the city, an extra few hundred yards is even less of an issue surely? As for your second point, well, people find a way. It doesn't seem to deter the Bees fans
What is this obsession with boundaries? You could build a stadium 100 yards from the Ricoh that's outside the city boundary, you'd attend one and not the other?
