A question of taste or bias?

I think maybe the difference is that 'right wing politician' is still generic, but naming a single person is focused on that individual. Using Corbyn as an example doesn't really back up your point though, because he was attacked by someone and it went virtually undetected in the media. I don't...

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

But they never will... we all know the ‘media’ choice (sorry Murdoch choice) is either Johnson or Gove.

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Well if me interpreting ‘as would...’ as something different to being as bad - then I’m clearly in the wrong.

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Which followed on nicely from the fact you stated Boris would be as bad as Corbyn... an equally shite conclusion to come to.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

So it’s either a no deal or Tory MP’s bringing down their own government to stop it.

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

But you can’t take the Tory out of him.... which means underneath he’s another cruel fucker happy to serve the elite... he’s just packaged nicer.

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

The funniest thing is watching the Guardian columnists and their love-in with Rory Stewart.. like he's suddenly found himself in the wrong party.

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Only about 20% of teachers would fall into that bracket to begin with, and the tax saving would be so minimal as you would be talking about the tax rate change applying to only £2/3K of their earnings in the majority of those cases.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

It’s mid cycle... by-election turnouts are notoriously low... and this was one of the better ones. Yes you would probably be right about a GE causing havoc to both parties, but when you look at the impending possibility of Boris being the next PM - calling for an election is the only means of...

    Sky Blues Trust Website

The Trust should be unequivocal in it's condemnation of Wasps and the Council. As such, any member of the Trust board that goes to Wasps games or events should consider their position - otherwise the organisation has no credibility.

    Boycott serves no purpose.

The only boycott I want to see is of the Ricoh Arena.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Once the new Tory leader is in place it will give an idea of the party stance re: Brexit. Until then if I was I charge of Labour I would not make a commitment in any direction, but instead keep focusing on their policies on the NHS, education, austerity etc.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I would look at that result and think you have 2 extremes - Brexit party and Lib Dems, which at the moment are virtually one policy parties. That was 31% to 12%. However that leaves 57% of the electorate who aren't so entrenched, in what is a Leave constituency. Even if you chuck the Greens in...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Not necessarily, you have to take into account the reduction in turnout (which was not bad for a by-election to be fair at 48%), so it's actually difficult to see how the vote split, and would manifest itself in a GE. The Tory vote switching to Brexit party would seem the most logical move along...
