    Turnbull wanted by four clubs

As stated above it's the players decision to stay or go and if he goes then I wish him well and trust in the manager to fill the position he vacates. Turnbull didn't impress but as others have said he got better as the season went on and it's almost impossible to judge him alone as he was...

    Beavon Agrees New Deal!

Stuart Beavon is an enabler, he brings others into the game. So yes I believe it is a good decision for him and us. Cedric Rousell to Robbie Keane, Robert Rosario to Mick Quinn. Goalscorer required or to reveal themselves at league 2 level within the current squad.

    Beavon Agrees New Deal!

I am in agreement about this being good news and wishing that the owners would leave but at the same time I must acknowledge that something has changed to the positive and if the owners are staying then I prefer this version to previous incarnations.

    George Thomas

George Thomas deserves better than the comments on here. He gave something to the team and to us fans and I wish him only the best wherever he ends up. I hope our team does well but I can't help thinking we would be better with him in the team.

    George Thomas

Yes in principle but say Haynes states he will stay and the club receive an offer they can't refuse for him then he's off anyway. I agree the core should be in place but the football workplace is never entirely stable and at our level it never is!

Was this the first Suday game ?

It was our first Sunday game at Highfield Road, many thousands of Derby fans and free entry but an expensive programme which was compulsory to get around the Sunday trading laws. I recall that it was a by product of the 3 day week, it was the FA refusing to extend the season. Most thought our...

    Offers in for Ryan Haynes

i would not be surprised if championship clubs are looking at Haynes. For me he is potentially a very good player and was the best player(withThomas)in a Coventry shirt in the 7 games I saw last season. He deserves to be playing in a higher league and Ike George Thomas if he goes then he should...

    Gould 71

I used to love Gould the striker, he was energetic and could take a chance. He lacked pace which prevented him playing at the top clubs after Arsenal but West Brom, Wolves, and West Ham all benefited from his prowess. He came in as manager after the clearout and somehow managed to put together a...

    James Collins

On a Coventry City theme, saying that Labour didn't cause the global recession is like saying that Richardson played no part in amassing our debt levels.

    George Thomas

Whatever happens from here on in I hope he enjoys a great career. His work ethic is really outstanding. George Thomas is a credit to our club and I wish him well.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Yes I am aware of that. However much the consortium has to play with they will be paying over the odds as there is very little in the way of assets and precious little goodwill and probably the biggest asset is the fanbase and training ground and George Thomas.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Surely he had more than that? He was part of a company that was sold for 208 million so why isn't he making a mega offer for a club with little income, 12 months away from being homeless and Barretts building houses on the training pitch and div 4 status?

All good kits but if it was the green and black one i would be delighted.

    Lee Burge Signs new contract!

Why should the new lad been given a go? Surely the manager should make his decision based on what he sees in training and pre season? It will take one fumble for him to be called shit on here.

    Lee Burge Signs new contract!

    So did RCC against Swansea.

    Lee Burge Signs new contract!

Is there anyone in our fan base that can offer an opinion on the new keeper based on having seen him play a few games rather than the fact his name isn't Burge or RCC?
