But the Brexit party split the tory vote. It would of been a 100+ seat majority had it not been for the votes lost to them. (as claimed by a number of statisticians at the time, but you know how statistics can say anything you want)

That could be good news for labour. Something has to change for them, they cant just plod on losing one seat after another. Sooner or later they will have to make the tough decisions and turn themselves around. I just wonder if KS is the type of strong personality to do it.

Allegedly. He has denied it. And like the issue over who paid for the wallpaper, the voters arnt interested. As indicated in today's results. In fact if anything, its made labour look a bit pathetic, if that's all the headway they can make in such trying times.

I think that's far too simplistic an outlook. The referendum was incredibly close, there were many remainers who went on and voted against labour. If the election was purely down to Brexit, it would never od delivered an 80 seat majority.

The Tories didnt have to fight anything to win If you remember, Boris completely disappeared and refused to debate publicly or even appear on tv at one stage. It was as if his advisers told him to keep quiet and let Corbyn win the election for you!

Hardly jumping in, your comments re not voting labour exactly back up my points made earlier. Respect for voting with your head rather than just following some notion of party loyalty.

How about starting, by trying to actually appeal to the electorate. That might be a good start!

I'm hoping it means that the party has finally woken up and realised that it absolutely has to purge itself of the hard core socialist left if it ever wants to be taken seriously as a viable political party. Kinnock had to do it with the militant tendency, and now Starmer has to do it with...

    Gustavo Hamer

That's a good comparison, white is still young and has established himself as a premier league defender. He's played a lot more first team football, and is ahead of Ostigard, who is probably fourth of fifth choice now at centre half. Brighton will undoubtedly trigger the 1 year extension...

    Gustavo Hamer

Ostigard's value has been massively over exaggerated on here. He hasn't kicked a ball in the premier league, and he's into the last year of a contract and can talk to any club at christmas, and he's publically stated he is only interested in playing regular first team football. And he's stated...

    Ben Sheaf future

We really need to move on from Walsh, yes he was great for us in league 1 but he seems to be one of those players who gets better and better the longer he doesnt play.

I think he will be a decent signing, certainly good enough for the bench, and he and Eccles will be good cover for Kelly, James and Hamer.
