Rascist behaviour from a Coventry fan

Death threat because he had a bad game verses Spurs. No wonder he's angry. That's like me getting a death threat because I left bird crap on a window whilst cleaning a house !

Rascist behaviour from a Coventry fan

Apology accepted. But joking apart when you're in your sixties, teenagers think your ancient, but someone in their eighties think you're a spring chicken. A customer said to me recently she was surprised I was still working at my age ! WTF !

Rascist behaviour from a Coventry fan

Looking back I reckon we haven't moved on that much from the 70's at games. In the 70's it was all about fighting opposing fans, abusing players and refs, anything/anybody was fair game. I thought it was part and parcel of football, shows how crazy it all was. Maybe not as bad now but still needs...

What are you currently listening to?

I'm always lucky in charity shops. There is some crap but amongst them you can find some gems. My favourite music is rock and heavy metal. But this year I've bought all types, I've purchased CDs I never thought I'd ever listen to. I now like bands like the Guillemots, Deacon Blue, The Cardigans...

Fan Sends A Fiver To A Player

Seems a genuine story. Like you say that's good parenting, as I'd have probably told my lad at that age to keep it and get yourself some pop and crisps. I'd send a fiver to Robins and ask him to treat himself but only if he'll play Ponticelli on Saturday !

Fan Sends A Fiver To A Player

A young Huddersfield Town fan found a fiver outside their stadium after their win over Man Utd on Saturday. His dad said as it wasn't his he must hand it in to the club. After some thought the nine year old decided to send it to his favourite player Aaron Mooy with a letter attached saying "...

How much difference do managers make?

Not really. A leader could take charge ? A good captain on the pitch has got more respect than a manager, as he's in there amongst things. So I understand Deenys comments.

How much difference do managers make?

Troy Deeny of Watford who has seen a lot of managers at his club. He has stated before the players aren't bothered really, because as professional footballers they know their roles, and he said most of them dont listen to them anyway. He commented also they could do better without a manager !

    Scientology

Being a Coventry City supporter is a religion too ? We go to our "church" the Ricoh every other week. We pay our "tithes" entrance fee, and I've prayed for divine intervention many times. So who are we to judge !

The all new sparkling positivity thread

Now that is positive. Wish I could be like that but watching yesterday it made me feel bloody miserable. Why on earth he doesn't give Ponticelli a chance/whole games, is beyond me. Yes the defence is strong but how strong away at Luton who bang in goals galore at home ? But I like your positivity !
