The EFL's scheduling of the Hull game so soon after the semi final was a large part of it. That and starting Sheaf and Thomas when they were clearly knackered. If we had to start our strongest team for appearances sake we should have done what Savage has done at FGR this season and subbed them...
I've seen a comment somewhere suggesting that it works on "Game Weeks". The Millwall game was part of the September games as most teams played the night before. And the Wrexham game will be classed as a November game that's been pulled forward.
I mean, I don't think the head on Bobby Thomas is unusually large, but that doesn't stop up singing about it being massive.
Also, I'm pretty sure that Jim Holton had brown eyes.
