    Wigan down, Forest blow it....

Wow what an end to championship!

New Stadium - The pessimist's view...

Wow such a lot of pessimism on here as usual. For what it's worth from my point of view and I've been around a lot longer than most on here, the Ricoh size is just about right for us. It potentially could be too small for the premier league given any success. Leicester with a very similar...

New Stadium - The pessimist's view...

A surprise announcement and you can't do that without both sides having agreed. So from that angle 'exploratory' work has been done regarding the 'possability' of a stadium being errected there. That's all it is. SISU have found a willing partner with land available that would be a suitable...

    Realistic Expectations next season

I might add that management/coaching set up has a lot to do with it. You can throw a lot of money at a team but if the manager/coaching is weak then the team fails. MR's and AV seem to have developed a teriffic understanding. It's not quite Clough and Taylor yet, but it certainly has a...

    Realistic Expectations next season

We'll have our work cut out. but with another decent striker in there is no reason not to think of top 10. We will surprise a few with our style of play, and if we continue our momentum from last season then threatening the playoffs is not beyond us. Just surviving would be acceptable but...

    Transfer Rumour Jonathan Panzo

Don't start underestimating our players. What ever we bring in, it must be an improvement on what we have already got.

    Transfer Rumour Marcel Hilsner

Seems like a squad players who has a good left foot and they want to try and bring the best out of him. Just not sure where he fits atm.

    5 Subs Allowed

Football needs to be football. I'm all for goal line technology as a must (who remembers Frank lampards 'goal' against the Germans?) and 3 subs has been a success, but 5 subs, drinks breaks, var stoppages - it's all spoiling the game. It's not the start stop game of NFL Football.

Time to draw a line ?

SISU's record over the last few seasons can not be overlooked in terms of getting focussed on football, and letting a good manager manage with the express support needed. They needed to do that to stand any chance of exiting their own nightmare. But they will need to continue to do so a little...

    5 Subs Allowed

So out of 10 starting outfield players you can change half the team as you go? What aburdity. It will be like playing two different sides! A few more on the bench might get opportunity but come on now. How the hell am I going to pick a starting 11 on fantasy football?

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

It has been stated he came in on a free.

    Who else do we need

A couple of highly rated premiership bench warmers on loan. Chelsea have too many strikers. I would expect something like that to happen and be a big surprise again. A club like Man City where Pep would see his loanee play a similar style out on loan which would favour us to get such a player.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

What a brilliant bit of business. Comes to us on a free having turned down contract offers at Villa and saw out his contract. I'm sure he had other clubs after him, and while some would have offered more wages (though I don't think substantially more as some think on here) he has chosen us...

    Championship

Good fortune was smiling on them that's for sure. Not sure the posh are happy with this final outcome. I only see them struggling in the championship tbf.

    Striker

I think you all underestimate Godden. Likewise many seem to think the championship is the champions league. We need another good striker to come in to compliment our squad and having two good ones will be competative and keep us scoring. We also have a team and style of play where goals are...

    Ricoh is confirmed?

CCFC will not sign up to a deal that jeopardises their ability to compete back in the championship. That would not help WASP if we simply went back down, becuase we could not offer the weages required or find those extra funds in January for that transfer window. A base rent plus all other...

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

Not really. I imentioned it was a guess. Base on other championship sides and the fact we will need to at least be approaching a competative level I'll stand by my guesswork thank you until proven wrong. If you seriously don't think our average first team member will be on something like 6k a...

    Championship

The foot of the championship is equally crazy. Wigan hve 15 point deduction to add which will relegate them. The fight for the other two to stay up is anybodies guess. Not so the premier league. After today I find it extremely unlikely the current bottom three are getting out of it. So we have...

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

I guess our first team squad to be on average 6k or so a week. One or two topping that to 8k (Godden, Hamer) Others will have bonuses attached that will reward them greatly on performances. So say kelly is on 7k as captain, and the team make midtable. I would guess again that his wages will...

    Championship

Watching this with interest. WBA and Leeds under pressure from Brentford big time. WBA need 3 wins from their last 4 to be certain of promotin if brentford keep winning. All Brentfords remaining fixtures look winnable.
